Just bc you asked… I wasn’t quite sure what Stormfront was talking about the first time hearing it. Her pronunciation was not the best in this one. So to me it sounded kind of like an old German poem about apple trees and rivers or something… But actually, she is talking to her husband Frederick Vought. It’s something like this: "It was so beautiful. How the three of us sat there, in the shade of an apple tree. Do you remember the day Frederick? Chloe reaching her arms out of the car window. We found the perfect spot by the river, in the shade of an apple tree. It was the first time Chloe ate fresh apples...(Incoherent)...I was so happy. It was wonderful. I wanted it to never end"

glad you're enjoying the show so much. while i generally hate thinking too much about future episodes since i like going in blind, i do think they set some pretty important elements in place for the future. i think their analog to AOC, Rep. Neuman is hopefully going to be a pivotal element. so far i feel like the show usually sets up some really crazy stuff to happen, but many of those things get settled in some big, gruesome way. those surprises can be fun, but i really hope we get some of these story elements the opportunity to play out over time. the misdirect with the one supe at the facility that could explode people was very smart. they setup a plausible misdirect with her, so you wouldn't see neuman coming. i was thinking newman wouldn't be her real name, but one chosen after she got compound V. i suspect it would be hard for someone to get into congress with a fake identity, so that's not super likely (but it's a trope screenwriters love, so not ruling it out completely). anyway, they haven't spelled out in the show if they give one injection of compound V and a random power pops up, or if they have variations that can give specific powers. if they can give specific powers to specific people, i feel like the woman at the facility and rep. neuman got a similar version. test subject is a little messy, so they tweaked it and that's the version she got. not sure if she used her status in congress to get someone to give it to her, or if she has a personal history with someone inside vought who got it to her on the sly. my hope is that next season takes things in a different direction. i really don't want it to be a bunch of people getting rocked by a new bad guy that they then come together to beat in the last episode. i know that describes all tv, but since it does describe all tv, i'd really love to see something else. there will be people exploding, which i am fine with (in this context), but if their next big arc is based on something that can't be punched into submission, that would be ideal for me.

Interesting final episode, with the way they set up Neuman as a potential 'baddie' for next season, although I suspect her goal will mainly be to get rid of The Seven and Vought as a whole. It's a bit weird that she's the one who explodes the heads, because when it happened during the congressional hearing she looked quite shocked about it. That could be an act, but it seemed genuine. Speaking of The Seven: who are in it now? I count Homelander, Maeve, Starlight, and A-Train. Black Noir's status is undefined, but even if he survived the nut allergy thing I can't imagine him being a good team player anymore. And that still leaves two spots open. The Archer, I guess, but even then: poor Deep :).

If you look at Neuman during the hearing you can see that she always looks in the direction of those losing their heads. If her goal is to actually take down Vought I don't see how her actions this season make any sense, why work against The Boys if they have the same goal? But who knows, maybe she has a bigger plan?
