March Update, New Studio! & Survival Shows Tier Change (Patreon)

Thanks for renewing your subscription this month! Here are some updates :)

THE MOVE

Content is still slow as I make my move. This past week, I moved my furniture to my mom's and got most of my packing done. I'm doing one last PCR test this Friday and then I fly out on Sunday! I had to get another one on the 10-day mark because I had Covid before and you can test positive for 2-3 months without being infectious. I tested negative thank God but if I did test positive, I would've needed a doctor's note indicating my recovery. Getting nervous now but I'm looking forward to so many things! It hits you when you have to call your phone service provider to cancel your current phone plan 🥲

Early next week, I will get some furniture but I should be able to film and upload by the weekend :) We will continue the Stray Kids Survival Show and variety shows for NCT, Enhypen and Street Woman Fighter, etc. Also some album reactions for upcoming releases in the next few weeks!

NEW STUDIO + MEMBERSHIP PRICE UPDATE

As you probably know already, my Patreon membership costs the lowest amongst the react channels my size. Because of two things, future survival show content will be under the Producer Tier ($10):

1. First reason is to align my pricing with other react channels my size as to not undervalue my content. But this really is a big decision for me to make as I want to keep my pricing as low as possible, so I am keeping the other content -- variety, reality shows, album reactions, etc -- in their current tiers. Only future survival shows will be affected by this change. Stray Kids survival show will not be affected and will stay in the $5 tier. 

Future survival show price change will start with Queendom S2 (basically for April onwards). Refer to this page on how to upgrade/change tiers.

2. Second reason is to help with my new studio! 

One of the things I've always wanted to do for my channel is to be able to not just describe dance moves to you, but to also show them. I find that it'll be easier to articulate my point during my reactions if I am able to show my viewers what I mean. But because of restrictions such as tight spaces, limited gear and resources, I am unable to do that. With my move to the Philippines, I am planning to upgrade my dance practice reactions to the next level!

There, I will be able to rent out a separate unit to act as my studio for my YouTube videos. It will have a good amount of space to have a big photography backdrop that would allow me to shoot full body without a mess in the background, have additional lighting set up, and most importantly, have two cameras pointing at me (one for close up, and one for full body). This way, I will be able to show my viewers dance moves that I talk about on my channel instead of just describing them :)

With that said, I understand if some people won't be able to upgrade and I sincerely apologize 🥺 Please know that I appreciate any support you are able and have given to my channel!

REMINDER

Also just a reminder that if you see a video not working, to DM me instead of commenting. Because I upload videos often, there are always new comments and reports about videos not working get buried under all the notifications. So the best way is to DM! The Sticker album reaction wasn't working for 4 months and I didn't know because people were commenting instead of DM-ing 🥺 Reason for why links suddenly stop working: Vimeo to Patreon's fault cause all I need to do is to re-paste the link and they work again.
