You are right, and you should say it! More red flag characters for Cha Eunwoo lmaooooo. I really love how he's playing psychotic lil Seonyul, but I still hope he can be salvaged before he goes too far. My main remaining theory is that his ultimate revengeance is against Kim Joon and not Soohyun. He obviously hates Soohyun for killing his dad, but I think Kim Joon is responsible for Geonwoo's death (and his dad just took the fall, probably to get money for Seonyul's 16th heart surgery) AND probably ordered the hit on Seonyul's mother too. I just don't know if Seonyul is fully aware of the details yet. He probably knows Kim Joon is the real culprit behind Geonwoo's death, and maybe will reveal that to Soohyun at the prime moment so she feels guilty for killing the wrong man, but I think he full go berserk and fully change course the moment he learns that the Congressman was the one who went after his mother.

OMG these 2 episodes revealed so much and was such a rollercoaster of plot twists I was left SHOOK. Firstly, I am so on board with you about how hot Eunwoo is even though he is a walking red flag HAHAHA. Like he fits this type of character SO WELL. I’m not sure if you caught this part, but I’m pretty sure Heejae (the neighbor's son) is the illegitimate son of Kim Joon that was mentioned?! Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this... that's why he visited the neighbor and told her & her son to leave so they’re not “weeds in the way” of him becoming president and it panned to the son’s photo frames when they were hugging. The sister ending up being the one in the photo… I did NOT expect it. I thought it was pretty clear and made so much sense that it was the neighbor especially since she vaguely apologized about it. But wow what a plot twist… this family is really destroyed now. I can't imagine how they can all recover from this (I feel awful for the mom the most 😭😭😭). I also totally get it when you mention the term “villain” - I don't think Eunwoo is one, he's an imperfect, heavily scarred child who lost his father, with an eye for eye mindset. This really boils down to how one reacts to a tragedy/misfortune, whether or not they hold grudges, choose to forgive, etc. I don't blame him for doing any of this... but it's like what Soohyun said, doing this won't bring back his parents and he's living a miserable life planning such a revenge. Ugh I do hope he eventually finds out that Kim Joon is the real villain who caused all of this. AHHH I can't wait to see how this all unravels!

I can imagine the scene where Eun-woo's character mourning his dad must be a bit triggering for him, with his experience of Moonbin's passing and all. He probably channelled that grief into the acting here.

I feel both soohyun & seonyul are similar in so many ways. Kind, successful. When soohyun lost her son, all she wanted from the culprit was a sincere apology & admit he did wrong and when she didn't receive that, she killed him. Similarly, when seonyul lost his father & went to trial, all he really wanted from soohyun at that time was that she regrets killing his dad. The way he plays that part in loop proves that's what triggered him. He also went outside when they were taking soohyun to kind of confront. I also believe that he would have done the same to soohyun what soohyun did to his father if she wasn't sent to jail. To confront her, if she regrets and if she didn't thn boom. The only diff is that soohyun got her instant revenge whereas seonyul was burning in rage for years, going through the stigma of a father who killed a child in a car accident. He doesn't know how his father treated her when she begged for an apology from him. We saw that as an audience. All he saw was that in trial, his father admitted his mistake, apologized for his mistake in the court & was punished by the law. But I am also wondering if seonyul knows something about Kim joon? Why was he hampering with the package that he delivered to that corrupted politician? And the way he said I will not leave anyone who hurt my parents had a similar vibe to what he asked soohyun - do you know what you did to me? I think he is also playing Kim Joon, the corrupted politician like a fiddle and that will be revealed later on. I am not defending anyone here, but I am pin pointing the similarities & why they should heal each other & fight against the common enemy. There are 14 episodes and I actually think that the main twist is yet to be revealed. I actually think that they will show how Soohyun and Seonyul will join the hand to beat Kim Joon. Also, I still believe that the politician did the accident and Seonyul's dad took the blame as he needed money for his son's heart surgery. I also believe that Seonyul's mom got to know this and that's why politician tried to kill her and was behind that truck accident but as mom went to coma, he thought it doesn't matter anymore. But now that he has seen the craziness of Seonyul, he shifted mom to VIP room and might try to kill her. Cha Eunwoo and Kim Nam Joo nailed as Seonyul and Soohyun. Eunwoo's acting gives me goosebumps. P.S.- I think this show would have been crazy viral if it was on Netflix or even Viki, Unfortunately, the show is on Disney and is not available in many countries and Disney doesn't promote Kdramas like Netflix or Viki does.

Actually, its quite normal for politicians to meet at simple places like that... esp with political type of dramas. Its a lot lowkey meeting place, the discussion is limited to that small place, crowd control is easier too. His friend actually mentioned it already that they have heart condition. In the past eps, she mentioned that they met through the hospital coz they both have weak hearts. Him bringing back the sister's mother who abused her was such a low blow... that is unforgivable... yes the affair was something... but he didn't have to involve the evil mom. In the end he'll realize that he's revenging the wrong person, but the damage was already done on soohyun's side.

I agree 100% on Eunwoo's acting here. Every time I watch that funeral scene, it brings tears to my eyes. I don't understand how people still bash him about his acting. It tells me there's really no convincing these people. Regarding Seonyul's revenge, for him to be so overtaken with rage, it has to be because he knows his dad was innocent. Like the other posters, I also think his dad took the fall for the congressman in exchange for money for his heart surgery. I actually think the call he got when he was in that club with the congressman in ep1 was from Seonyul's mom. He probably was in the hospital and getting worse and the dad needed to do something to save him. What doesn't make sense is the dad's unsympathetic reaction to Soohyun when she was begging him to apologize. I have a feeling that was on purpose and part of the deal to force either Soohyun or the husband to avenge their son to destroy the husband's reputation. I think the dad was ready to die to give his heart to Seonyul. So all that was premeditated. That's all I can think for someone who was originally a good person, and I think he still is because he's still capable of caring for other people, to be pushed too far and turn psychotic like that. Remember how at the funeral, the mom was telling him that they have to hold back. They must know what happened but needed to keep it in and not defend his dad because they didn't have the power to go after the congressman. One last thing, the neighbor's son wasn't poisoned. He has epilepsy. Soohyun knows about his condition so she knew to turn his head to the side so he wouldn't choke on his spit. It's an existing condition and she knew to just wait until it passes.

the drama has been doing pretty good in korea, nothing super amazing but still getting good ratings and views! queen of tears has been going viral lately so i guess more people are watching that!
