Tara is honestly one of my favs. She's so sweet. It broke her heart but she wanted Willow to do what makes her happy. The ex boyfriend of girl she loves just full on attacked her and she tried to tell the Initatives he's not just a werewolf but a person and she ran to get Willow to help him. She's got the purest heart. I LOVE that she was the one Willow chose in the end. I loved Oz and Willow but I also think we've moved past that and it's time for Willow and Tara to shine.

Also, Seth Green left earlier in the season because he wanted to focus on films. I liked that they brought Oz back for a more final and a slightly less betrayed goodbye. I do like that he was naive coming in hot thinking they'd just pick up where they left off because he did leave to find a "cure" so he and Willow could be together without the wolf getting in the way. It would have been more logical your way but it made sense that he would think Willow was just waiting for him. I don't know if you're planning on reading the comics that Joss Whedon imagined as the season 8 of this show so I won't spoil it too much but if it makes you feel any better, Oz ends up having a great life and he did reunite with Willow as just friends down the line in the comics. They end up cool with each other, happy for each other. I always thought that was a sweet ending to their story.
