I never really got why you thought they focused on Lucifer and the rest of that story so much. Lucifer doesn't appear at all in 16 of the 23 episodes and only briefly in the some of the ones he does. Kelly doesn't appear at all in 18 of the 23 episodes, and not much in some of the 5 she does. Castiel appears in more, but not as the main focus very much. The men of letters, and general fun random episodes, are overwhelmingly the main focus for most of the season. If in the end you don't like it that is one thing, and we would want that honesty. But it did feel like you set out to hate whatever it was they did no matter what involving that story from before they did anything, rather than experiencing it unfold slowly in the background and deciding after.

yeaah i feel like he already decided he didnt like this season before it even started so these reactions arent fun anymore. i love supernatural so so much, and i’m heavy in the fandom where a lot of people disagree with stuff which is perfectly fine. castiel is my ride or die and some of my friends dont like him and idc everyone has opinions. but if he straight up just doesnt like the show i wish he would just drop it instead of whatever this reaction was tbh (the mary/lucifer romance theory was so weird and out of left field)
