April Updates (Patreon)

Hi everyone!
It's been a bit of a whirlwind month, and I know a lot of people are suffering some pretty serious upheaval as a result of the pandemic. I'm sending my love to you all for supporting me through the tumult, and also love to anyone who's had to drop their pledge as a result of financial instability. I hope I can bring a little fun to your days with my comics, art, and streams in the mean time.

News this month!

STREAMS

This month's streams will be on Friday the 3rd at 1PM GMT and Tuesday the 14th at 8PM GMT. I'll be streaming a page of Cinderfrost and The Sword of Souls respectively!

MARCH PSDs

Patreon loves to drop my zip files from posts (I know I didn't forget this one, it was scheduled in Feb and double checked in March.) I've attached the zip to this post and edited the previous one here. Sorry about that!

DISCORD

I'm going to try and put a discord together this month so everyone can interact a bit more than Patreon allows! If there are certain channels you'd like to see within the discord, let me know! Here are some of my ideas: an art share for you guys, a critique corner, a place to share photos of pets, an oc/fursona share, funny memes/shitposts and feel good humour channel, a suggestions channel (both to suggest sketchbook stuff or new discord channel ideas) along with the usual stuff like a general chat, news, introductions, q&a etc. And a question in terms of what you prefer: should the whole discord just be marked NSFW, or should there be separate channels for SFW vs NSFW (like two art shares, two oc shares etc.) I'm leaning towards making the whole thing NSFW just because that would otherwise be a LOT of channels, and harder to maintain. Since my whole Patreon is pretty NSFW, I can't imagine anyone will be bothered by it either. What say you?

REVAMPS

The revamps from last month went really well in the end. It's helped me to recover some of the losses I'd been having over the course of the past year, and having new content to share is exciting. Thanks so much for weathering the changes with me, I know they can be a pain!

PERSONAL

Just to give a heads up on my own situation during all this pandemic madness. I've tried my best to downplay my stress, as I know my situation is pretty good! I'm an introvert, my job is online, and my partner works for a bog roll company, so all things considered I'm in a safe spot. Regardless, I admit I'm feeling pretty mentally exhausted. I'm separated from my family in Canada, and there's a lot of extra pressure on creatives to be more productive with their free time to entertain people in isolation. The stress isn't very conducive to productivity though, and I've been beating myself up a bit that I haven't managed to do as much with my time as expected. I hope you guys can be patient if I'm a bit more scatterbrained than usual or slow to respond while I try to adapt to the new situation <3 In the mean time I'm sending all my love and good vibes to those of you struggling too. Please take it easy!
