Id try using an old charger brick, like the one in the box, on these older units. Smart chargers are too smart for their own good a lot of times and older totally dead phones just need a steady flow of power to work

Had the baby of the bunch, the 520. Absolutely loved it. Shame the ecosystem had no apps and devs wouldn't even bother porting apps for it...
