My first ever brand new iPod that i bought with my own allowance back when i was in elementary school was a 4th gen classic like this one except it was 20 gigs, I still have it and it now has been fixed with a flashkit. Its funny and great to see good ol Ron chugging along after all those years lol he can hang out with Geir now. XD

Question for Dank about the main video today: Do you really think Tidal sounds great for Jazz and Classical music? I loved Rdio and when it died I tested all the services and I thought Tidal sounded horrific for Classical music and Jazz, though pop etc. was great.

I'm pretty sure they are greyed out because they are the old 128 kbps Apple DRM tracks purchased from iTunes. Get a 30 pin to USB adapter and plug in a DAC and the HD650s for some real listening pleasure 😋

hey Dank I got a iFi Zen DAC V2, iFi Zen CAN, Balanced KK Cable II-SO to use with my HD 58x, and that was just the start, I got the FiiO BTR5 as well for when i want to take my headphones on the go.. man I also have plans by the end of the year to get meze empyrean after watching that video of you unboxing them! Thanks for opening my eyes (and ears) to the world of Hi-Fi audio, i had the HD 58x since like 2017 but i never found out why they just sounded like normal headphones out of my gaming PC.. but after watching your videos and reading up i got the hardware i was missing, thanks again and keep up the great vids!

Sadly, the classic green Pkcells have all gone to the great third world acid house recycling plants in the sky. You can get the new blue Pkcells on Amazon, but even their logo is crappy. Such is life.
