Confirming, zagg is awful screen protectors that just turn your nice glass into gummy squishy plastic that dents easier than the galaxy fold. They still exist in mall kiosks where some below minimum wage + commission kid manages to do the worst job installing a screen protector then charges you $70 for the the experience. If you own a curved screen device often these "flexible" screen protectors will be the only option for quite a while till the right fit is achieved with the glass ones. My note 9, bought when new, still no glass screen protector options that fit properly (and let you use a case).

I had a Zagg on my iPhone 3G. It was actually pretty good, easily better than the other plastic ones at the time. It lasted far longer than any glass protector I've had since too. I did notice you ended up with a slight orange peel texture though so swings and roundabouts really.

Those invisibleshield screen protectors were pretty much the best screen protectors you could get back in the day, I remember using them on my 2nd & 4th gen touches. Kinda a pain to install, but overall leagues better than the garbage plastic sheets.

I had an InvisibleShield thing for my 7th gen Classic. Yes, it kept the back from getting scratched, but it made it feel kinda crap. I either go glass screen protector or no screen protector nowadays, I hate the feel of plastic under my finger.

The invisishield has been my go-to screen protector since the iphone 3GS. I actually prefer the plasticy feel over the glass. The only time i didnt get one was on my Galaxy S7. My S7 is also the only phone that ive cracked the screen...

Fun fact: I’m training in the RAF as a pilot and ‘military grade’ is just a marketing tactic. Military grade in the military, navy, RAF etc means the cheapest material that gets the job done, so never buy something just because it says military grade

The Zagg brand is very scummy. I got sold a screen protector from them with a "lifetime warranty" when I bought my phone. Ended up breaking the screen protector, went onto their website to get another free screen protector as part of the warranty and the shipping was around 8 dollarydoos. Total snake oil.

Hello from Texas - just got an eBay score for a 5th Gen iPod “classic” and came with some Interesting extras - came with a dock to charge and do video out (not Apple branded) and the manual is full of errors and feels “janky”. Wish I could send ya a pic, I don’t have MyFace or TwitGram.

I had a 3rd gen iPad with an all over invisible shield. It actually saved the iPad from a couple of tumbles, and although it wasn't cheap, it was before the time of cheap tempered glass solutions (or about the same price). But yeah, that plastic turned yellow faster than a cig fiends fingers

Ok, so Zagg, is actually a pretty big thing, at least in the states. They’re one of the biggest screen protector retailers. They did come in that big box, and you had to wet install those. Biggest issue was they’d show an orange peel effect as that was the properties of the film.

I had a ZAGG! Invisible Shield on my iPhone 3G when I was about 15 (was one of the conditions of me getting it for my Christmas so long as it was on...). Left a weird orange peel effect over the whole phone and had these strange cornery bits that used to become unstuck and get dirty underneath...! Fair to say it didn't do a bad job but applying it with the water and the squeegee was a total pain in the arse and the chrome bezel around the front still got scratched!!!

I bought a refurb 2007 Macbook 15" in black and I still have it covered in the Zagg shield. Not great for the trackpad feels but honestly, you cannot cut the stuff easily. It comes off without leaving funky residue so it would be perfect for someone who often resells their electronics. Applying it is a bit of an art, tbh. Love your vids mate.

These Invisible Shield protectors are really good. I use them on every device. Not the cheap ones though. The expensive ones feel just like glass. AND IT'S EVEN BETTER than glass cause they are self-healing. And they're super thin.
