reminds me of this cheap nugget i had when i was in grade school. though with mine, you had to slide the switch to put it into "on" mode, and then you could turn it on normally.

One thing you can try is to cut the cables from the battery (leave it attached to the motherboard) and the grab an old USB cable, cut it an connect it to the battery cables, then grab a USB wall adapter and connect it, this should work and the Craig would just think is has a full battery.

I had a knockoff iPhone 3G in my uni days, and it was just called the "Phone3GS", and no joke, it legit played gifs of michael jackson with a MIDI rendition of smooth criminal if you held the stylus in between any of the icons
