Unfortunate week (Patreon)

Unfortunately, my laptop had a failure this week when I tried to replace the battery. It would turn on, but immediately turn off before booting. It's still in the shop and I'll likely get it back Monday or Tuesday.

I don't think it was a hard drive problem, so if I'm lucky, the only thing I've lost is time. If I do lose the hard drive, my latest backup is only a few days old from the time my laptop failed, so I'll have to spend a day getting things back together.

Either way, it isn't a major setback, but it has ruined my mood and really stretched the boundaries of my anxiety limits.

So sorry no progress was really made this week! I'm try my best to double down when I get it back.
