84: For whom the Dungeon Trolls

The chewing of bones was a little disturbing as Delta watched the monster known as a troll reach through the hole like a English accented bear trying to find some delicious honey. In this case, the honey being more of the screeching bear skeletons and mindless undead that tried to pierce the grey...

Sorry Stewie, I'm at work so I can't help today. I can read it a little at a time though!

This is amazing! And it's not even done yet!

Big fan so far! Totally different tone from the last battle. I know the stakes are higher, but it feels more fun than the spiders. Other than what looks like you writing too fast at the end i wouldn't change a thing!

I like Ruli's Sheldon Cooper impersonation. Almost missed it too, lol.

Looks like Delta maybe effecting(/infecting ;) ) more Dungeons soon. Also looks like there is a hint that the Story of the Silence and the Two Children maybe connected to the Dungeon Systems and the Silence? If the Troll Respawn Room is a library might we get Smarter Trolls? Or if it's the Demon Smithies Smithie might we get possibly Fire Resistant Trolls (that maybe have a fondness for Smithing Things?)? If its the Statue Room then it could lead to the creation of Rock Trolls or perhaps a Gargoyle Spawning Room instead (assuming that Gargoyles and Trolls aren't related to each other, in which case you might end up creating a Room that can Spawn both?)? Be interesting to see how the Room Creation system had been Delta'd and how it will weird things up when it comes to making/remaking Rooms. With how the Character/Monster Creation system had already been effected then Spawn Room Creation and the effect on the beings created in them might be amplified considerably, which might lead to even more Weird and unusual outcomes then normal. Should be interesting.

I believe we've already seen how affected the system in the princess and the dungeon chapter. The fact that Delta is infecting every dungeon in the world with her zany antics is a wonderful sight to behold. It was also interesting to see the dungeons themselves were lending lending aid to Sis when she was fighting. The flaming sword from Yal and the twin shields. I'm curious if those were the menu's of the other dungeons or the actual controlling entity of said dungeons. Regardless it shows us that while Delta has had the biggest impact on the system the other dungeons have an active rapport with the system. Before this chapter I had assumed their interactions were the same as infobox to dungeon that you see in most dungeon/litrpg stories.

Ya know, I somehow missed that. I thought they were just programs she was running and had given life, but your idea makes a lot of sense. It would explain why Sis was so protective of them, they were living and sentient, just like her. If the other dungeons menus (and/or their cores) are affected by Delta, it would make sense that Delta can be affected by them. I'm assuming it is with permission on both ends, but I'm guessing most menus and systems would love a little Deltaness in their life. So does anyone else think this is getting to be something interesting enough to gain the attention of the creepy child that murdered her? Or at least brought her here to die. They did say that if she did something interesting Delta would gain their attention. Affecting, possibly infecting, every dungeon on the planet would probably do it.
