Hohoho, happy holidays!
Not sure if I’m late, but it’s better to be late than never, right?

I’ll make this one something to remember, for better or for worse. Two worlds are colliding in this team-up extravaganza! Unknown to people who are celebrating, the season is also enabling a dark force that can threaten the whole Earth!

Looks like a job for GoGoFive and Gingaman teams!

Special thanks to my awesome patrons:

Ho ho ho, happy belated holidays!

.

It was close to Christmas and the common people are enjoying the spirit. Holiday ornaments decorated the shopping centers and buildings in general while the Santa impersonators were luring everyone to spend their money at their shops. While most of them were busy finding presents or preparing a celebration, the Tatsumi siblings were pushing their physical limits at the beach.

Sporting full firefighter gears, the group rushed across the cold shore. Panting and sweating even in such a low temperature, they were led by Matoi for miles before his whistle blow stopped them. They were exhausted with Shou even needing to lay his knees on the sand.

“Okay, up next!” blurted Matoi with excitement. His siblings/teammates wouldn’t expect any more grueling physical routine. “Is break time!”

The GoGoFive team was having a feast. A full meal set was unveiled at the tent and everyone was enjoying themselves. At that moment, Matsuri realized that there was a boy sitting at a sand dune in the distance. “That boy looks depressed,” she commented, making her siblings look also.

The girl approached the young boy who was there by himself with an open book on his lap. “Hey, you can eat with us if you like, or are you here just to be alone?” asked Matsuri with kindness.

The boy shook his head. “I’m waiting for someone.”

“You have a friend coming?” asked Matoi who walked up there with the rest.

“Yeah, this guy!” The body enthusiastically showed them his book. “Ryoma and Bock!”

“Hmm?” All GoGoFivers examined the book and the pictures in it. There was a youngster with strange clothing jumping in front of a kid similar to this one. A small humanoid creature hovered next to him. “Isn’t this a picture book?”

The boy nodded while standing up. He appeared to be searching. “My papa did the art.”

“They must be his imaginary friends,” whispered Nagare skeptically.

Footsteps were heard and someone appeared. “Yuuta! Sorry, I’m late.”

The boy was beyond excited and immediately hugged the young man. “Ryoma!”

Matoi and his siblings were shocked to find that he was exactly the same as the book’s character.

“I brought the book as promised,” said Yuuta as he offered the picture book.

Ryoma smiled and nodded, but his hand couldn’t grab the book. The pain on the side of his abs stung too much. The young man dropped to one of his knees while grunting and groaning, prompting the GoGoFivers to rush in to help him.

“Ryoma, what’s wrong?!” asked the worried boy to his friend.

Matoi was also concerned, particularly after finding out that Ryoma was bleeding. “Hey, are you okay?”

“Don’t worry about me…” Ryoma’s extrasensory perception caught a disturbance just in time for the appearance of sinister figures at the other end of the beach. “They’re here!”

Three hooded figures emerged out of thin air. They looked evil with a pair of winding horns protruding from their heads. Their faces were screaming Greek masks with long ears on the sides and black voids for eyes. They were armed with some kind of giant candy cane with hooked ends. With a simple roar, the creatures unleashed a strange swirling energy attack against the group.

Matoi’s quick thinking saved them. “Suit up!”

The five Tatsumi siblings transformed into their spandex-clad alter ego, the GoGoFive, just in time before the barrage hit them. Sparks burst from their suit, but they were still alive. Holding pain, Matoi flung himself at the creatures. He easily performed a triple aerial kick on them before landing.

Wasting no time for useless action, the team immediately drew their sidearms. “Five Laser!” ordered GoGo Red.

The Sentai heroes bombarded the trio of horned creatures to oblivion. Their target succumbed and fell to the ground. “We did it!” shouted Daimon triumphantly.

But the battle was far from over. The creatures’ fingers twitched before the three of them stood back up in a stiff motion. The revelation surprised the Sentai heroes.

“I can’t believe it!” exclaimed the confused Nagare as GoGo Blue.

Perhaps close-quarter combat would do the trick. GoGo Red brandished the V-Lancer and used it to slice and cut through the evil elves. One, two, and three enemies were down instantly with sparks and black liquid burst from their bodies.

But the monster got back up as quickly as they got down. While two of them grabbed Matoi’s legs, one managed to choke him with its solid talons. GoGo Red struggled to fight it, but he was nothing compared to their combined strength. He screamed as they threw him back at his teammates and Ryoma.

The unmorphed Ryoma saw the dark elvish creatures were coming for them. He held his pain and put out a fighting stance. From the combined palms of his hand, a sacred flame burst out to strike the three monsters. “Mane of Fire,” he proclaimed his attack.

With a single hit, the trio was gone. This time, they didn’t come back. But the successful strike cost Ryoma his strength. He immediately collapsed to the sand while groaning at his persistent pain.

“Let’s get you somewhere safe,” said Matsuri assuringly.

In the background, the red Sentai warrior pondered on those creatures’ identities. “What were those things? They weren’t Psymas…”

At the Tatsumi Disaster Prevention Institute, the group gathered while Ryoma was patched up by Matsuri. Matoi slapped the back of Shou’s head who got excited by the uncanny resemblance between Ryoma and the character in the book. “That’s not the thing we need to focus on right on. Those things from before are the real problem!”

Daimon nodded. “Is there anything about them from the story?”

Ryoma grunted and shook his head. “What I know is that they appeared in the dark and during winter times. As we speak, my team has split up to find some clues.”

The television set in the middle of the room lit up. On it was the face of Analyse Robot Mint. “Sorry for the interruption, but is this one of Ryoma’s friends?”

He turned his image into a local news broadcast. Reporters flocked the entrance of a hotel where a young man in similar attire as Ryoma stood awkwardly, nodding to every flattering comment on his successful capture of a woman who jumped from a balcony before. While Ryoma’s costume was dominantly red, this one was blue.

“Gouki!” yelped both Ryoma and Yuuta. At that point, Ryoma’s Ginga brace awakened with a voice.

“Can you hear me, Ryoma? I sense a strange force.” The words from Moak the wise talking tree was acknowledged by Ryoma. “It feels different from before. Take caution.”

“Understood!” Ryoma immediately said sorry for leaving Yuuta and thanked him for the book. He rushed out of the institute.

Matoi bit his lip. He wouldn’t want to miss the action. “We’re coming with him!”

“Right!” replied his teammates in unison. All of them dashed out of the room after getting their respective jackets.

The heroes ran across the city. Ryoma’s brace led them to the location with the strongest energy signature. The sky above them was grey. The air was cool even in day time. Some snowflakes had begun to fall gently from the clouds.

They then stopped in front of a building. It was the hotel from Goki’s news before. “Here?” asked the confused Matoi.

Then the wind was picking up. Dark clouds swirled above the heroes’ heads. Somehow, it sent dread to all of their hearts. “What’s with this atmosphere?” asked the anxious Matsuri.

“Sorry, we’re late,” apologized Goki and another young man in yellow attire who met them. “Who are these people?”

“Don’t you know, we’re the GoGoFive!” answered Matoi heroically.

Goki and Hikaru simply tilted their heads due to ignorance. “Whatever, we’re the Gingamen. I’m  Hikaru, GingaYellow. This is Goki, GingaBlue and that one is-.”

Ryoma cut in. “I don’t need an introduction, Hikaru.”

“Hey, where are Hayate and Saya?” asked the young hero in yellow. He was answered by simple head-shaking from Ryoma. “Could something have happened to them?”

The winds were really picking up. The heroes were barely able to open their eyes and had to shield their faces from the exposure. Then the surrounding low walls of the hotel yard erupted in streams of hellfire that towered as high as the main building. Moving air was now felt scorching, but it was nothing compared to the fireballs that rained down from the sky.

The five GoGoFivers and two Gingamen shrieked in pain as explosions pummeled them from all directions. They were thrown quite high and got dropped unceremoniously on the concrete ground. Writhing in pain, their agony was a delight for the coming demon.

The sound of dragged chains was bad enough, but the monster’s appearance was something to behold on its own. He loomed over the hotel’s rooftop edge. He was twice the size of a man. His bulging muscles looked more like a dark blue exoskeleton than actual flesh. Its armor matched the four horns that jut out from his goat-like head. The long cloak hid most of his hunchbacked body. “I’ve been expecting you…”

Matoi was still fighting the stinging burns. “So, we have been lured here…”

“Winter will come to the surface world. You won’t stop me,” said the demon with a booming voice. “Everything will fall to Krampus!”

“What?!”

Everyone was shocked, but Matoi was furious. With his transformation wristwatch, he morphed into GoGo Red. The hero immediately shot out his Five Laser at the demon. “We will stop you!”

All Krampus needed was a simple sway of his hand. As if there was an invisible barrier, the high-intensity energy deflected off Krampus and went back to strike Matoi right in the chest. The pain was unbearable even for the fearless team leader.

Not giving him a chance to get back up, a number of dark elves grabbed him by the throat. “Argh, it’s the same as before!”

GoGo Red’s suit chest got severely damaged from dual slashing attacks. Had GingaRed blocked them, his fate would have been much worse. With his Starbeast Sword, Ryoma gashed his way across multiple enemies and turned them into harmless black cloaks on the ground. He went on to cut down more of them. “Flash of Flames!”

The rest of the GoGoFive team used their Five Lasers, but the dark elves kept getting back up. They instead got the bad end of the monsters’ swords. Not even Nagare and Daimon were strong enough to withstand the attacks. They were saved at the final moments by GingaBlue and Yellow. Same as before, the Starbeast Swords were able to hack through the monsters. “Rapids Slash!” proclaimed GingaBlue.

GingaYellow was there too. “Thunder Sweep!”

“Why… Why aren’t our attacks working?” complained the weakened GoGo Blue.

Ryoma didn’t realize it until now. “Earth Power, we have to use it to defeat the power of darkness!”

The statement struck Nagare. “Does that mean that… We can’t defeat him?”

At the rooftop, Krampus gave off a monstrous grin while watching the heroes’ confusion. He then saw GoGo Yellow leaping toward him in denial of technology’s impotence against winter.

“Daimon!” cried out his teammates on the ground, but it was too late.

“V-Mode Punch!” Daimon angrily proclaimed before both of his fists were captured by the demon. He grunted then screamed in pain as his muscles and bones were slowly being twisted by his enemy’s might.

“I sense that you have the soul of summer. Full of optimism and positivity. I want you as part of my Special Tree!”

With Daimon’s hands hurting, the demon only needed to grab his helmet to bring him in. with the other hand, Krampus’ weird candy cane staff sent out a screeching sonic attack. A single touch from it and none of the Sentai heroes could fight anymore.

Matoi, Nagare, Shou, Matsuri, Ryoma, Goki, and Hikaru all screamed in pain as their minds got scrambled by Krampus’ perverted melody. It stabbed their hearts with agony, despair, and a sense of loneliness even though they were together. “I… can’t fight him…,” sobbed GoGo Blue in its corruption. “He’s omnipotent!”

“We will be buried in winter!” cried out Shou in mental pain. “I can’t breathe!”

“This can’t be… I don’t wanna end like this!” Even the brawny GingaBlue was not immune to the monster’s debasement.

But the Red warriors still got courage in their hearts. “Minna, he’s… He’s only tricking us. We are Sentai heroes. We can fight him!”

In her anguish, Matsuri nodded. If their team leader could do it, they could fight anything at any odds. Sadly, the odds were indeed against them.

More dark elves appeared and immediately surrounded the GoGoFivers and Gingamen. They were snatched and grabbed and forced to move toward the hotel entrance. The double doors opened but there was no lobby or receptionist’s desk inside. Instead, what the heroes found was a cold alternate dimension filled with sounds of creaking, hanging cages. Already weakened from their previous predicament, the Sentai warriors were easily thrown into the void.

The GoGoFivers and Gingamen tried their best to hold on to the door’s hinges, but the demonic world had its invisible hands on them. A strong gush of wind pulled them in. Goki and Shou went in first, then Matsuri and Hikaru. In the end, Matoi and Ryoma joined their teammates while screaming.

The heroes found themselves tumbling across a thick layer of snow. A low mist partially hid their boots. “What is this place?” grunted GoGo Red as he stumbled to stand back up.

He was shocked to see the sight before him. He and his friends seemed to be at the inner courtyard of the hotel’s triangular layout. In the middle of it all was a gigantic pine tree that should have been perfect for Christmas had it not been upside down. With its pointy end burrowing to the cold pile of snow, the widest part of its canopy spread out next to the tallest suite level, and the extensive root system branching out into the black sky above, it was clear that this tree was not normal. Moreover, creaking wood noises made everything feel eerie and wrong.

“I… I don’t like this…” The mortified Matsuri commented. She then remembered something bad. “Daimon!”

“Daimon!” Matoi looked at the hotel entrance where they came from. He rushed toward it to get his teammate back. Each of his steps became harder and harder to take as if there was an invisible force that prevented him from escaping. “Hang on, Daimon!” shouted GoGo Red as he desperately tried to fight the push.

In the end, his effort was fruitless. The Red Sentai warrior was thrown back to hit GoGo Green and sunk into the thick snow cover. “Dammit!”

“There’s gotta be another way out of here. Spread out, team!” ordered Ryoma. The Gingamen nodded and scouted the courtyard. The GoGoFivers also helped to cover more ground.

Shou and Goki found an emergency exit door. GoGo Green tried to open it and it worked! “Over here!” he called out the others.

Distracted, the Sentai hero didn’t realize that a collection of tentacle-like vines were ready to strike him. When they did, GoGo Green was too shocked to think straight about his escape. His situation was made worse by the revelation that all tendrils came from a single monstrous creature. A gigantic worm with a dark elf mask for the head. The ram horns glowed with amber from its cracked texture. The mask opened its mouth to moan in the most perverted way, “Presents…”

“Five Laser!” Shou shouted as he fired his sidearm. The monster screeched and let go of its hold on the hero. He used the precious moment to move back into the snowy courtyard.

“Shou, get back!” shouted Matoi as the rest of the group came. A barrage of laser fires and energy slashing attacks hit the monster until flinching. Then, its throat began to bulge out. “Pre… Presents…”

The panicking GoGo Green was in front of the demonic worm as it vomited fuming sludge. Shou screamed in pain as the disgusting substance slowly damaged his suit. No matter how much he scooped out from his body, it was not enough. His pleas for help began to devolve into a gurgle as the goop thickened and solidified. What he desperately pulled from the GoGo Green Anti-Hazard Suit now resembled fat latex. The sheer weight of it made him kneel on the snow.

“Hang on, Shou!” cried out GoGo Pink as she kept the assault pressure on the dark elf worm with her V-Lancer in machine-gun mode. But she failed to notice one important detail: the vomited goop was still attached to the worm monster’s mouth and now it started to pull.

Gasping, Shou could feel his body get yanked by his inescapable latex cocoon. The harder he tried to get rid of the cursed goop, the more of him was paralyzed by its constriction. Both of his arms quickly became unusable at the sides of his body as the sludge formed a tightening shiny cocoon. His Five Laser was there on the snow, but he couldn’t use it to fight anymore.

The stretchy coffin was pulled hard into the worm’s mouth. No attack from Shou’s teammates could save him now. The young hero’s muffled cries were heard at his dying moments. First, his bound feet went in, slurped by the multiple tentacles inside the mask. Hidden by the helmet, Shou was bombarded by a sensation unlike he had ever tasted before in his pathetic life. He moaned hard as the tendrils explored his toned body more and more as the vore continued.

“We gotta save him!”

At the end of his heroic life, Shou the GoGo Green let out the loudest sensuous wail as his body was finally fully devoured by the dark elf worm. His indistinct shape traveled down the monster’s throat and deeper into the darkness where it came from. “More presents…!”

The creature had done taking a hero. Or was it? Its void eyes looked at the rest of the remaining Sentai warriors. Its mouth released tentacles again to capture them. “It’s not done! Everyone get ready!”

The GoGoFivers chopped some tentacles into burning remains using their V-Lancers while the Gingamen fought with the Starbeast Sword that easily cut down multiple threatening tendrils at once. In the background, the worm monster screeched in frustration before vomiting more goop.

“Don’t let it touch you!’ warned Nagare as the memory of how Shou got taken down was still fresh in their minds.

But Krampus had more pawns than just one in his game. In fact, he had dozens. Bursting out of the thick snow, black figures ambushed the Sentai warriors. Matoi, Ryoma, and their teammates were grabbed by them into unable to move.

GingaRed was shocked to see the details on those figures. They weren’t dark elves like before. They were people. Teenagers to be exact! Some of them wore school seifuku, some with sports team uniforms. At least two of them were swimmer girls with one-piece swimsuits while the others were karate boys in their gi outfits. They had no color, including their bodies, except jet black as if they had been converted into stone.

“Coal,” grumbled Krampus as he entered the courtyard from the hotel entrance. “Naughty children will not get coal this year. Instead, they will BECOME coal!”

His hand gesture suggested that the Sentai warriors had also been deemed naughty this year.

Matsuri was appalled by the notion. “No way!”
