Since I was in university, I've had an interesting furry story idea kicking around in my head, and I've puttered away on the idea here and there since I first attempted to write it during NaNoWriMo 2013. However, it quickly bogged down mostly due to a lack of planning, university, inexperience, and working on other projects.

But I think now is the time to bring it back.

So, the basic idea of Project Venice is an alternate Europe divided between those nations and people that use magic, and the upstart industrial revolution that threatens to undermine the dominant use of the Crystals, and the Empires and Religion that grew from it. The story was to take place with three characters: a magic using spy vixen from France, the crown prince from the industrialized Kingdom of the Rhineland, and a retired mercenary turned ship captain from Venice, all joining together to tackle a secret organization that seeks to bring whole nations, both Magic and Industrial, under the domination through political maneuvering, violence, and war.

So what does this mean? Well you, my dear Patrons and hopefully soon to be Patrons, will get to see it all unfold right in front of you! I'll be posting world building details including the developing of the world, nations, organizations, religions and magic systems, old files of the story as I find them, and eventually the rough draft chapters of Project Venice as I finish. You will get a chance to chat with me, ask questions, and even offer suggestions for certain elements of the story, including town names, magic spells, and more! If you are in the $10 Tier, you will even get a chance for a character of your design/choice to have a substantial cameo in Project Venice. How cool is that? I think it's cool!

If you like this idea and want to see it come to life, then pledge now! Just $1 a month and you can watch this story idea that I first came up with five years ago finally see the light of day.

I will still be taking commissions and doing other things, don't worry: this is a long term project, several months to a year or more in the process. I just hope you want to join me for the ride!
