Hi everyone!

After uploading an update for A Tiny Furry on here every week for a year, it feels weird to be spending another week on the games update rather than uploading it for everyone to enjoy immediately.

These fortnightly updates are very much going to be worth it, though. Why? Because I've been adding tons to the game! This weekend has been an absolute flurry of super motivated work. I'll be ready to show it to you next weekend (around February 21st!) but I'm eager to tell everyone what's coming, so ... here's a post about that!

The first thing is LOTS OF NEW CONTENT. Previously I polled the addition of a bard to the tavern. I have decided not to add our birdy male friend in this particular update because I want to focus on writing what happens after you get shrunk. I think it's important to get that part of the game going before we hone in on other areas.

So - micro content will be added instead! The story will continue from where we left off last time. This will mean that you'll get to wake up in your bed and see the tavern from a new shrunken perspective. It means that you'll get the choice to suffer in the hands of a couple of macros (yay) and you'll get to play through the next part of the story (also yay) You'll also be able to expand your relationships with the characters you've already met!

I wager that I'll be adding around another 20,000 - 30,000 words of content into the game this time around. Again, not every update will be like this - some will be smaller - but I am really feeling a lot of energy for this one and I have been throwing myself into it fully (sorry if I've been quiet in the IMs again, I have severe tunnel vision) This means that A Tinier Furry In A Huger World will have like ... 60,000 words of content in it ... which is over a quarter the size of A Tiny Furry v1.0! Crazy! And it's definitely not a quarter done yet. How many words will it be when it's done? 300,000? 500,000? A MILLION?

Moving away from obscene wordcounts, let's talk about OTHER UPDATES that will be coming to the game! This is mostly quality of life stuff. It will include -

SOUND EFFECTS (with optional toggles)
PATREON COMMANDS (a nifty intro skipper and a scene selector)
MAYBE SOME MUSIC (maybe)

And ... (I'm really happy about this one)

COLORS FOR DIALOGUE

This alone has been a lot of work! Not sure why I didn't do it in the first place. Probably because it would be a lot of work? But it really does make the game a lot more readable. And best to get it done before I wrote ... even more dialogue for the game, so ...

Yeah! Lots of stuff. So look forward to it! I'll try not to kill myself making it as usual.

To tide you over until then, I'll also be posting a couple of commissions on Monday! A soft vore tale featuring a crook of a feline and a weird as fuck story about a forest eating someone.
