Midweek Update (Patreon)

Here it is, a bit later than planned, The completed animation, Moonlight Mischief :D

Why so late? The internal simulation was not cooperating at all, I spent a solid 5 days just altering settings and telling a simulation to cook for the internal shot, waiting between 5 and 30 mins each time (where nothing else could be done on the PC) If I could not get the shot looking good I'd have pulled all internal shots from the animation, several times I thought I had it only to get to rendering and realizing it didn't have the correct amount of ...oomph and finally late Tuesday evening I hit on the right combination of several variables I'd been juggling and finally got it looking good, (the relief just washed over me I thought it would never end) finally having something that worked I then rendered it earlier on today along with setting up, simulating and rendering the alt version too. (and I should hopefully not be stuck in such a quagmire again having identified several parts of the simulation that need tuning before others) then the rest of the day has been spent comping the animations together and well now it's done. ^,^

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the animation and I'll be working on the raccoon for the rest of the week. :D 

note on files, the HQ_h264 and HQ_h265 video files are identical, the HQ_h264 versions are bigger but will play on mostly everything, the HQ_h265 are smaller but needs a more up to date player, like VLC. I'm also including a lower quality LQ_H264 for anyone who wants it for easy access (e.g. phones) 

If you need the HQ_h264 version I'm providing it as a split zip file. Patreon limits file size to 200mb. If all parts (.zip, .z01, .z02, ...) are downloaded to the same location, (and your browser should do this by default) double click the .zip file (the one with the icon of the folder with a zip on it) and Windows 10/11 (or an archive manager of your choice) should happily open it up.

If you can't play the HQ_H265 version and also can't open the zip files and want the HQ version please message me directly and I'll sort out alternative download means via DM.
