This week I've been rendering the climax animation, working on the internal shot, work on the Raccoon rig.

I've rendered the climax animation both standard and alternative, plan was to do this during the nights this week so I'd have a strait shot at working on other things during the day, got the animation done by Monday and then my computer decides to reboot during the night Two days in a row whilst I was sleeping, meaning to get the renders done for today I had to them right though, both day and night. That all got finished late in the day Friday, then I got into something I didn't even remember till Thursday, the internal shot.

I was fighting with the simulation all of Saturday and today, and looking at the render so far I think things can be tweaked to get a bit more... energy into it so I've canceled that and am just putting the other renders up. (it's getting late here, so late it's early, and I'd need to recook the animation which takes at least 40 mins never mind the 2 hour render time)

I won't be able to get things done today even if I try to pull an all nigher. The sensible thing is to take a bit more time do it properly then get it posted as soon as it's done (even if that is off schedule during the week) this also means that if anything needs to be re-rendered it can be and I'm not trying to do editing and compositing whilst falling asleep.

I did get something done before my computer started to put a dampener on things, got some work done on the raccoon rig, he's about 30% done now, (was still on the old rigging system for the face and nothing for the body, so I'm basically building him from scratch) I've also been running a poll as to what should happen with the raccoon and otter and if there is time (and the raccoon gets finished) I'll set up a few stills based on the poll as jumping off points for animations.

Anyway I do hope you enjoy the sticky alt render with some nice tug and pop and I'll see you all at some point during the week when everything has been finished off and edited together.

(note on files, the h264 and h265 video files are identical, the h264 versions are bigger but will play on mostly everything, the h265 are smaller but needs a more up to date player, like VLC)
