Exo-Pot - Final Version (Patreon)

This character was formerly a pilot of some kind in a military organization who was crippled in an accident. One day, she was in an experimental vehicle (aircraft or tank maybe) and during a test run it exploded with her inside. She suffers major burns and has to have all of her limbs removed.

Since the accident she tried to maintain a positive outlook on life but has been slowly succumbing to depression. Then, she receives a notification from a group performing tests on human-machine synthesis asking her to participate- having nothing to lose she agrees and signs up. This character undergoes drastic surgery where most of their body is removed and fitted into a small container with a series of neuro-spinal connectors that allow her to mentally interface with a machine.

Now, this character is much happier, maybe even more than when she had her full body- she is able to do what she loved and because of the nature of the link between her and her vehicle she is even better at it than before.

Here is Cryptophore's winning idea : A potgirl or a drastically reduced person fitted in an exo-skeleton. Quite the sci-fi idea!

Took me a while to ocmplete, as I am quite bad with Mecha designs, but I'm happy with it in the end. I followed Cryptophore's recommendations on this one: MEC-Trooper look (kinda), half-shaved for cyberpunk-look, etc...
