Fresh off his victory at bringing Charlie into the fold, Spencer is off in search of more allies, this time with the one who got away [from a violent lust-maddened Quinn, barely]. Namely: Leigh! We've got Leigh, folks.

This chapter, I was really kind of annoyed that we're tethered into first person pov, so I made it a challenge to myself and put Spencer in the position of narrating events after the fact, trying to explore the headspaces of his Hotties. I think I liked how it turned out - it's revelatory about Spencer, as well as the women he's talking to and about. Let me know if you have thoughts.

It occurred to me I haven't linked to the Hottie files in a while, so here they are! (For any new-comers, I have a google drive folder with all the Hottie art work, sorted by room number, and some temp files (titled 000 temp to keep them at the top for ease of reference).) So there's those! There's fresh Leigh in there, fresh Angel, the stuff I shared with chapters 1-3, and the baseline reference pics for the Hotties.

In the meantime... I should sleep! But more to come.

“Local RA Fucks Absolutely Everybody, Is Fired, Disgraced” surfaced on a Google search would more likely get someone back for a follow-up interview, if definitely not a job offer. It's not often a headline accurately describes someone's sexual hijinks so accurately or filthily, you know? Gotta hear that story.

And, shit, Spencer's clearly the one to tell it! I'd disagree with any suggestion that the previous books/chapters are lessened by their first person perspective. Beyond needing it to shape Spencer into an empathetic and sympathetic protagonist, it's also crucial for the developing mystery of the Spencer Effect. The second we're in a Hottie's head, the tension's reduced. And if anyone knows how easily tension is reduced by being in a Hottie's head, it's Spencer... Sorry, sorry. This was a lot of fun, though, and a relief to see that Tori's desire for Not Wanting To Bang Spencer 24/7 masquerading as a desire for a safe living space is quickly crumbling at the feet of Spencer's RA skills -- whatever you take that to mean. He's a problem-solver, this guy; he just needed to remember that. Thanks for another excellent installment!

These are pretty dark and I love them!
