For the returnal conversation I’m curious if Kyle or Jacob felt the narrative sequences made the games story more compelling/confusing? Does it make you excited for more story content in the future?

I recently picked up an Oculus/Meta Quest 2 and I'm shocked by how robust the platform and hardware is! Before purchasing, I was still of the mindset that VR was a multi-thousand dollar investment. Turns out you can get in on probably the most popular platform and hardware for less than an OLED Switch, and with the flexibility of accessing PCVR games too! I feel foolish for not jumping in sooner. My question: why haven't you picked on of these up yet Hanson!? Motion sickness concerns? I know Leo occasionally chimes in with some VR recommendations, but it would be great to see more VR coverage from MinnMax.

Hey guys, every few months I get the urge to play Civ 6 on switch for a few days. I play for maybe a week, and then put the game down for another few months. On the same note, I also want to play survival games but I know I won’t like the genre. Are there any games you don’t play for months, pick up for a bit and put back down? And are there any genres you want to try but know you probably won’t like?

Hey MinnMaxers, Do any of you ever replay games with new game plus? I've recently decided to replay a few older I haven't touched in years and they all had the option for new game plus. I realized I've never used this feature and If I replay a game I just like to start fresh. P.S. Love the show and welcome to the new contributors. Excited to see MinnMax continue to grow.

What's the funniest joke in a Marvel/MCU movie?

(GAMING SIN HERE) Hello Minnmax Show, My wife and I play Super Mario on the Switch a lot. And I state that we can’t use the save scum or rewind features, because we didn’t have it back when we were playing on the original SNES. And it would ruin sanctity of a beloved masterpiece. But… when’s she’s not around, every once in awhile, I use it. And I feel dirty. Thoughts? Love the show.

Hey Crew! Wondering if you have experiences of regret when consulting a guide on a certain puzzle/boss fight that after the fact you wish you stuck with it and figured out on your own? Of course sometimes you get satisfaction knowing you never would have figured something out but sometimes you wish you were a bit more patient with it. I am playing Tunic and haven't used a guide yet but fear I may have to at some point and worry if it will lead to disappointment that I didn't persevere. (My example is the final boss in Link Between Worlds, couldn't figure out to shoot the arrow the opposite direction around the wall, so clever and so simple still regret that one wish I thought of it myself!)

Dear Minnmax, now with more Lewinn! Do any of you have any go-tos for luck? Maybe a lucky rabbit's foot, jumping over the foul line before starting your softball game, or always going with lucky number 13? For some reason I bet one of you has a lucky pair of underwear, so who is it?? For me lately, I always seem to be struggling with a specific goal or boss in a video game (those Crash Team Racing time trials are rough!) when my wife and pup enter the room. My wife walks in and says, "Your good luck charm is here!" And 9 times out of 10, I beat whatever I'm stuck on the next try!

Whoaj update: Made it back to New York. Still absolutely devastated at what happened and worry for all my friends back in Ukraine. The world has now seen the war crimes committed by Russian soldiers, but also know that this is just what was uncovered. More war crimes have happened that have yet to be documented, especially in cities still under siege like Mariupol. It's going to be worse than you could possibly imagine. After 40 days, Kyiv and the surrounding Oblast (Region) are free from Russian troops, but now efforts by the invaders will reportedly be focused on the Donbas region (in the east). This might be an even bigger battle and will have an equally important impact on the outcome of the war. What I mean by this all is; even though I am safe, do not let Ukraine leave your thoughts, and continue donating to charities directly connected to Ukraine if you have the means. I've been looking for new things to play that may be outside the norm, and that's made me wonder what's the most unique gaming experience that you've had?

Hi all! What’s the most expensive gaming collectors item you bought? I’m talking figures, collectors editions of games, rare boxed games, etc. Do you regret it?

So after 92 hours I finally got the platinum trophy in Elden Ring, but I’m definitely nowhere near finishing playing the game because several friends and my brother need help before I embark on a goof around new game plus run. My question is have you ever been so engrossed in a game for such a long time that once you are finished with it you go into a purgatory of sorts. My explanation for that is I find it hard to start something new after such an experience. So I’m kind of bouncing around with indie titles and Rocket League with my friends until I feel ready to jump into Horizon Forbidden West or Cyberpunk 2077. I started the Chrono Cross play through with you guys in the meantime!
