So, you want the bodysuit and the belts?  As for hair, at times I've taken an existing one and editted the mesh, but doesn't always come out right so I don't do it often.  Really only works with short hair.

Waiting for that laces product has helped in this project.  It's not as perfect as I'd like, but I didn't original design the boots around this lace product.  Been tyring to think of ways to improve the next pair of boots using it.

So, to update you, I had an issue with importing the mesh into Painter for texturing.  I received this rather obscure error and tried everything to figure out what it was.

I broke down, did a couple quick commissions and bought the updated version of it.  It didn't allow import, but it gave a better description of the error, and was then able to find out what the issue was (a vertex).

The boots and gloves work very well in DAZ.  The suit does too, but I find it a bit plain and hoping to see about having those tassles on the sides of the suit.  Once that's done I'll have to retest but areas I plan to change won't be affected much so I don't see that being an issue.

Also thinking about putting lacing down the back strap of the suit.

Oh, and that commission involved some old time wrestling gear for G8F which I'll send to you as well.  It's very, very basic.  A luchadora mask, a one piece tank and nylon tights.  I haven't finished that commission yet (still trying to figure out the new Painter software as a LOT of stuff seems missing/moved) but it's only four or five images so they can be pushed out very quickly once I get the colours on the suit right.

I might go back to the 2020 version of Painter when I texture the Chris Morgan suit.

The big problem I'm having right now is that when I export out from Painter, I hoped that the files would be based on the UDIMs and not the surfaces themselves.  

Right now, the mask has three surfaces: fabric, trim and laces, but they're all on the same UDIM.  I had hoped that when it exported, it would be just one set, instead of four textures for fabric, four textures for trim, and four textures for laces because that's a lot of files that are a bit wasteful.

I'll keep you updated.

I also put in some old female wrestling gear items.  I used them for a quick custom commission job and posting them on Patreon.  There are potential issues at the crotch and how the stockings may bleed through boots a bit but might be solved with Push Modifiers on any boots.

So, just to update.  

I was waiting for someone to release a product I could use to do the boots.  They product works well if you design the boots around *it*, but trying to use the product on existing boots wasn't easy.

They look really good, from a distance, and not too shabby up close.  My worry is that there's a LOT of polygons and not sure how well the ankles will bend.

I had intended to make a single set of textures for all three items, to save on memory.  But I'm leaning to making three texture sets: boots, suit, and gloves/sleeves.

Well, it should work in any pose that is inside Genesis 8 pose limits.  What I was more concerned about is bending at the ankle and knee.  I've got it in DAZ and it's not distorting badly at all when posed.

Going to throw some shaping tests on it.

The suit will be in three parts: suit, gloves and boots.  Each will have their own texture set.

I had to do some major surgery to it to get the transparency effect to work right.

I ended up in a situation where I couldn't find out what was causing the problem with textures.  Eventually figured out that the subdivision modifier was mangling the UV layout so I have to keep that issue in mind for future items.

I messed up the roughness on the boots.  Under Glossy Roughness, I have her suit map instead of the one for the boots.

The chisato one isn't that complex, except for the ring between the breasts, which will distort rather badly on body shape changes and poses.  If it's above the breasts it won't distort as much.

I want to integrate in the boot tips into the overall mesh (it's just one big mesh) so that when it bends, it all moves together.  If items were split into layers, lower layers would bleed through when bending.

I'm using strand-based hair to create a fur look on the parts of the costume that are fur.  I have some other fur shaders, but I cannot legally distribute them.  The problem with strand hair is that the hair is uniform colour and is missing something with it being so short.

I built the suit around strand-based hair and that turned out to be rather underwhelming.  So, I'm using a fur shader from DAZ3D and it does look better.  I still have to sculpt in details (folds, stitching, seams, etc).

The crotch area will have to be weight mapped.  Also the belt buckle should be weight mapped too so that it doesn't deform like it was made out of clay.

It has been completed.

Things I would have like to have changed: 

1) the UV spacing at the crotch and armpits.  It wasn't a polygon issue, but a UV space issue.  To fix would have been difficult.  

2) exported more polygons from Blender instead of using Convert to Sub-D in DAZ Studio (the chest badge goes from six-sided object to a circle).

I included the colour/metalicity/roughness values used to create the suit so that surfaces on the helmet will match.

The $10 tier was customizing a piece of clothing that was already made, not a new one.  However, in this case, I'll still do the panther outfit.  The only thing I can see that would slow creation down is the fur, and the lack of good rear shots to see how the outfit is constructed behind.

Before I do the final sculpting, I needed to test it out in DAZ first.

000 and 001.png show it in a basic pose.  Works fairly well, but you'll notice in 002 and 003, skin pokes through.

If all else fails, the G8F figure could be turned off inside the DAZ scene leaving just the suit.

I tried converting to Sub-D in DAZ and it works well EXCEPT I lose sharp edges with the trip and makes the six-sided hexagon badge into a disc.

"Can you put a morph that only moves the collar part of the costume's neck?"  So I think you want the openning of the neck to stay in place when the neck is rotated?  That could be tricky to do.

All I have left to do is create the cloth detail, put the symbol on the chest (texturing) and then testing in DAZ.  I had a big error in the UV mapping so the textures would have been all distorted at the wrists.  Fixed that issue this morning.

Objects in DAZ and fitted to G8F.  I do not know how well it will work on G8M using Autofit.  I gave priority to G8F.  My only issue now is getting the colours to match.  

I divided the suit into different surfaces.  The silver parts cannot really be changed, because of the chest logo.

But the fabric  colour and the stripes can be.

They *almost* share the same texture maps.  When I cut the legs, the design changed (the point at the cuff was not as pointed), so I had to alter one version to reshape that point.
