Patreon and the great postal address mystery... (Patreon)

I'm noticing that there are quite a few mailing addresses missing so I reached out to a couple of people and they assured me that they have updated their details as per my instructions in my previous post a few days ago. So I contacted patreon support to see if they had any explanations. I wrote -

 

"Hello, I'm wanting to send some CDs out to people on various tiers. All my tiers have the "request shipping" checked, but only some addresses are showing up. The only thing I can think of is that when people didn't put in their address when they signed up (and filled it in later), or changed their address at some point, their address field on their profile is showing "no address". They also don't show up when I export the patron info as csv.
I've contacted a few patrons directly whose addresses didn't show up and they've assured me they've updated their profiles.

I've got about 200 CDs to send so I'd like to make this as simple as possible, any ideas on how I can get this info to display? Thanks in advance.

Sam here from the Patreon team– Thanks for reaching out about this.

What is likely happening is that patrons are updating their address in their patron profile rather than adding their address in the membership section in their account. To do this, they'll want to head to their  Active memberships page, and click update address next to their membership with you.

So I'm hoping I can get you guys to check your shipping addresses again using Sam's links? I'd test it myself but my account is a creator account and it's all different. Really sorry to do have to do this! Why patreon has 2 different address fields I'll never know.. Can a few of you please let me know when you've done it and I can then check that everything is good on my end. Thanks in advance and I love you all dearly!
