Funny you mention Song Joong Ki and Zo In Sung not being in Running Man together... I vaguely remember them actually being guests for an episode around 2015 I believe

he didnt punish mihyun because she exactly accomplished the mission to tie down dooshik. he was going to give dooshik an important task in north korea which i believe is to assassinate the north korean leader and if he failed there was a risk of him to run away and never come back and on top dooshik didnt have any family to come back so the chief needed to create a some kind of thing to tie him down to come back and that was mihyun. also i dont think dooshik killed the north korean leader cause the chief was angry because the newspaper didnt say it was an assassination but a cardiac arrest, so kim dooshik didnt kill the leader as he was ordered to thats why he was angry ( maybe ???)

they’re not saying he killed the North Korean president - the implication was that dooshik didn’t kill him, although it was his mission to do so. they were angry that it was reported as cardiac arrest as that means that dooshik ignored instructions and didn’t follow through with the operation.
