Your point about Hojin being in the wrong team is so true. It’s such a shame that some trainee are kinda getting “dragged out” because they’re not in the right team. I personally liked G team better as well, even though technically speaking K team overall did better.

I think Jay is amazingly talented but I get why so many people say he should go solo. I think his voice is so distinct its going to be tough to match him on tracks in a group of 9 without whole spotlight going to him. Its also a question of range, hes great from chest but loads of kpop songs are more mix or headvoice so not sure how its going to match. Ultimately its up to personal preference as you said. Regarding queerbaiting(?) - this show (compared with other survival shows etc) is insanely fruity. Look forward to upcoming episodes! I know you want to take proper timelines to react but I would love for you to post reaction to episode 6 at the end of march (as you mentioned somewhere is a possibility?). Especially that episode 5 is just an elimination episode, which is far lower on content and can easily be watched on 1.5x speed :p.

If someone can inform me..I used to watch Form of Therapy reaction videos and I didnt subscribe to the patreon until fairly recently. When PD says they quit youtube, does that mean no more reaction videos posted there? I noticed there hasn’t been any new videos for about a month. Just curious!

It's so interesting. I couldn't quite tell what was "bothering" me the entire time when I saw Yedam's performance because fundamentally I thought he has everything he needs, but when you started talking about it, it just made click. You're so right on that PD. I feel like he's trying so hard to show off that he forgets or can't notice what he needs to work on to be on that idol level of performing. Also is it just me or does this show specifically consist of so many insane contestants who deserve to debut? I can't remember seeing a show before, where choosing the TOP9 made me feel so bad about all those guys that ultimately wouldn't make it. Why are there only 9 spots man. Since this show is obviously a popularity vote at its core and most of the top 9 is pretty clear already (maybe with a couple exceptions) it's so frustrating to see contestants, who are SO GOOD and absolutely ready to debut, but just won't make it in the debut line up of this show, no matter how good they are while some are going to be in the top9 without really showing anything special. Survival shows will be my end I swear xD

One thing about this show is there are MANY contestants who absolutely deserve to debut, but at the same time I can't see them making a cohesive team in the end. Like I love my boy Haruto or Chen Kuan Jui, but I have a hard time imagining them in a group with Jiwoong or Gunwook, so that's what I'm trying to keep in mind while voting (and I hope whoever doesn't make it in the end get to find a perfect group to match their colors and highlight their talent)

Don't know if PD will read this but when you watch episode 6 PLZ watch until the very last second of the episode after the previews and voting stuff. Skip the previews for the next episode if want to. There is an important announcement in the last few minutes of the video like in the very final minute actually.

As a Hao fan I died during Ep. 7 (didn't help that Jimin released his single while I was watching BP the man gave me a heart attack with that one) I am soooooo excited for PD to watch it! I was really excited to watch it live as it came out with PD but I get it if timeline wise it's not really possible to get catched up at this point. Plus I'm SO nervous for second round eliminations!

I'm surprised that PD preferred K LMR over G group! I liked G groups so much better ): Especially the rapping. But yeah I agree, separating them completely messed up the momentum.

I agree that Hui put more effort into the adlibing and he did well showing off on stage with the mic things, however Jay's charisma was overflowing for me! In an aspect of performance I liked Jay's more because of how much he apparently enjoyed it, giving a lot of effortless and warm vocals and facial expressions so I think I can summarize this way: I could tell Hui was focusing on impressing and Jay was focusing on having fun, and that's why I find Jay better here. About their voices they're both really good, Hui is obviously years ahead of technic over Jay but I think it comes down to personal preference, I like to compare their voces to ice cream lol Hui's is sharp and strong like a lemon flavor and Jay's is warm and easy to "taste" like chocolate flavor 😁 anyways they both did great and I hope we can have these two debuting together, imagine how shiny this combination could be!

i've always thought that Park Hanbin from the hotsauce team gives me very much Ateez vibes and especially San. the fact that he performed The Real during the star level test is very fitting too lol. Seunghwan from the danger team is also very ateez coded.

nah PD, Love Me Right being edited one episode apart is like others said, being aired first means you get more time to be voted bc voting starts once the previous episode airs, and actually at the start of this episode they said there's still one day left to vote when this episode aired, which means the K Group Love Me Right team got less time to be voted and compared against G Group (the objective thing would be to not vote for G Group and wait, but then the G Group members of that team would have fallen behind to other G Group members, so there's no way that would happen)

Krystian was a victim of evil mnet editing. The whole drama with Krystian was edited in a way that made Krystian look bad. There is a yt video that dissects it thoroughly to show where they added random clips, different audio/voiceovers, and how they just dramatized the whole situation with dramatic music and such. Basically, Krystian was translating what Kamden was saying for the others who didn't fully understand Korean, and instead they made it look like he was talking over him. Kamden was crying for a different reason because he had different accessories on whilst interviewed, whereas he wasn't wearing them during the group discussion, so different times, different occasions possibly. coming back to tell you information i just found out, since you were talking about queer representation. jiwoong actually has a collaboration coming out with Holland, an openly gay idol. i’m not sure if he’s singing or just acting in the video, but i felt the need to mention it.

I actually really want Jay to debut because he is actually a trainee and this is his second survival show (the first one being in late 2018 called under19) and in my opinion he will be like a fresh air in Kpop and a great addition to the group

in regards to evil editing wouldnt it be the opposite? bc g group gets twice the time to get votes bc voting opens right after the performances show so people immediately start voting. i think jay is a better belter than hui but i like both of their tones. i like k groups lmr performance overall, it felt ore put together

I think a couple other people may have brought this up, but queerbaiting isn't really something real life people can do. Especially real life people in a culture and industry that's hostile to queer people. We don't know any of these idols sexualities, so we can't know if they're just doing fan service or just very comfortable with themselves or actually queer. Additionally, people who get into entertainment and public life early - childhood or young adulthood - are literally figuring themselves out in public, so the "queerbaiting" can literally be people exploring and figuring themselves out. Queerbaiting is when writers purposely write in a ton of subtext to a story and tease characters being queer but never actually make the characters queer. And writers do this with intent. They want the queer audience, but they don't want to actually have queer characters.
