Quick Collaborative Film Idea: Global Black (Patreon)

So you guys are a shockingly global bunch, which brought to mind a very silly old film idea that I want to try doing:

It's filmed all over the world, but it's all totally black. Authentic black from all over the world. Ideally some place kind of interesting (think "Broom Closet in Sistine Chapel") but it could also be something just random, ("Under a bed in Sweden"), or kinda ironic ("Grand Canyon at 3am" or "In a Shoebox in the Forbidden City"- stuff like that.)

I'd super love your help putting this together.

The whole point is that you never see anything- it's just straight black (although I suspect there'll be slightly different black values/noise). But text would appear in the corner of the screen saying who recorded it, and where/when the footage was captured. It could be recorded on your phone, or whatever (quality obviously doesn't matter too much).

Ideally you can hear audio from the location, though.

The important thing is no cheating! It has to actually be filmed where it says it's filmed.

It's one of those stupid cheeky ideas that I also legitimately like in a, "huh... yeah, why not?" sort of way.

So anyways! Yes- if you're down for contributing, and can film some black (ideally 10-20 seconds), just post it here or send me a message or something, along with where/when you captured the footage, and how you'd like to be credited. I'm not going to monetize it or anything- this is a "strictly for the fun of it" thing :D.
