Alright! If you've already seen the other post with the breakdown, here's the actual assets if you want to use them for anything!

In the video I had the rigged photoscan of Kaitlin in there- I want to upload that soon, but it made the .blend file pretty unnecessarily large, so I nixed it in this round.

Feel free to use this stuff in your own projects, for sure!

And here's a link to the full scene file and crab fight video file, if you want it.

Hey Ian! Thank you for everything you do!!! Your stuff is so inspiring, entertaining (and often hilariously bizarre), i just love it! I'll sure try to make something fun out of your assets.

AH! Thanks so much Stefan! I have a bunch of assets I'm going to be uploading in the near future- I hope they're useful! :D

I duplicated my movie clip 20 times and I’m having trouble rendering the animation. The part of my animation that doesn’t have the mp4 works find, but when it gets to the part with the video asset it would completely stop at “initializing”. I have also tried converting the video clip to an image sequence instead. I am using a 3090. Did I break blender by duplicating too many clips? Has anyone else had this issue?

Hmmmm.... so one thing is that if it's a high res video, you could probably fill your VRAM pretty quickly. I usually try to keep the video as low res as possible, to avoid that. That said, a 3090 has, like, 24 gigs of VRAM, so... I feel like it should be fine? Unless you're using 4k footage or something? Length could also be a factor- I'm not sure if it loads the ENTIRE video in, or just the frames it needs (I've been trying to find that out for ages. But you can also imagine if it's a super long video, that'd be HUGE, even if it's low res. If it's an entire 2 hour movie?? Loaded in 20 times? That could easily fill up ANY sort of ram)). If you try swapping out the video texture for a smaller one, and that fixes it, you might just be using too much VRAM, yeah- could be a good place to start troubleshooting! Sorry you're having problems!
