Cute background pony & progress report (Patreon)

She's only visible partially covered for 5 seconds 😭

Featuring new eyes that I did a while back.

In case Patreon decides to compress the image, I also attached the full resolution version.

Progress:

It's so close to being finished 😳, mostly needs polish and details now.

Stuff done since last update:

  • Main animation of all scenes is now complete

  • Completely redid one scene (I still have one more scene I don't like, but I think I'll let it be)

  • Lipsync for 6 scenes

  • All backgrounds

  • Most sound effects

To do:

  • Some extra voicelines -> need lipsyncing (I got a bit carried away when I heard the voice actors' performance. This is quite fast though and I think it looks and sounds really good)

  • Fixes and details

  • Final rendering

I don't want to do that, it doesn't sound good enough without music 😬. But I'm trying to adjust the music level so it doesn't cover all the sounds and dialogue.

So furry 🤤 Any update on when the Discord server is coming? I imagine it would be better to start having people 'migrate' on over sooner rather than later. Make sure rewards and channels are working as intended and whatnot 😳

This is an update post to be excited about. Didn't know how far along you were, so seeing you so close to being finished is a very pleasant surprise. As always, I'm sure the wait is worth the effort you've put in for another quality animation. Also, is it wierd that I'm just as excited to find out what music you picked as much as I am for the animation itself?

I know it’s hard to please everyone, but speaking for myself, the BGM does a lot to complete your pieces. I think that it wouldn’t have the same progression and satisfying climax (literally) without the musical backing.

I agree. The music is a staple of your work, as far as I'm concerned. I genuinely prefer it over generic porn sounds and dialogue.

I third what's being said here. "Synced with music" is a very rare porn genre... and even then most who do it, don't do it justice as all. Haltie is of the few (if not only) animator(s) that does it right ie. letting the music actually set the scene, tell the story, dictate the scene changes etc. I've seen many attempts at PMV (porn music videos) from various artists for various fandoms and sadly most of them are just loops that gets sped up or slowed down to roughly fit with generic 'bootyliscious' rap or R&B tracks... :( This is why Haltie is my favorite animator... because "synced with music" is my kink I guess. XD

ngl, I'm actually really looking forward to the Discord server as a place to occationally lurk, chill or shift my focus to if I just want take a break from staring at my work :P Here's hoping it doesn't aid in procrastinating with my art. XD

Any small 'soft' update yet on the animation or Discord channel? If you're going through some stuff or need more time, just let us know. From what I've seen, your fans are chill and want you to give the stuff you make the time it deserves. :)
