February Dormitory Diary Entry - Okabe (Patreon)

Since the end of January, I've been swamped with work due to an onslaught of holiday shifts. It's been quite the ordeal, but I feel like I've finally made it through. At the start of the year, I had the opportunity to draw an illustration for the company's brochure. Looking back at it now, I think I could have done a better job. Although I received guidance and corrections from someone who always mentors me, I'm a bit frustrated that I couldn't fully apply their advice. The next time my artwork goes public, I hope to have improved significantly... However, it was heartening to hear fans of the work I depicted say they thought my illustration was cute.

お世話になっております。岡部です。1月末から怒涛の休日出勤で大変でした。やっと切り抜けた感じです。年始に会社のパンフレット用にイラストを描かせてもらえたのですが、今見るともうちょっと上手く描けたなぁと思います。いつも指導してくださる方に添削してもらったのですが上手く反映できなかった点もありかなり悔しいです。次、世に自分の絵が出るときはもっと上達していたいです……でも題材にした作品のファンの方にカワイイと言われていたので嬉しかったです。
