February Dormitory Diary Entry - Ura (Patreon)

Hello. This is Ura, and boy, did I have a busy February.

This is my dormitory diary entry for February.

I got a lot of cuts this month with short deadlines—I pulled several all-nighters to get them done in time, which was rough. Even after all that, I still missed my deadline by about 30 minutes. That was sort of vexing.

The cuts themselves were for an anime movie, including the title card for the film, which was SUPER important.

As animators, we have to stay true to the nuances of keyframes, but fluctuating my line strength and quality as I tried and pick up those nuances was quite the task.

But I’m honored to have worked on such an important cut!!

こんにちは。2月は忙しかった浦です。

2月の寮生日記です。

今月は締め切りが近いカットがあり、それを間に合わす為に会社で徹夜したことがしんどかったです。が、それも結局30分程ですが間に合わず、悔しい思いをしました。

カットの内容としては劇場のアニメで、これの次のカットでアニメのタイトルが出るかなり重要なものでした。

それも原画のニュアンスをできるだけ拾う必要があるもので、線の強弱をつけながら動画を拾うのが大変でした。

でも、大事なカットができて嬉しい...!!!
