Hi everyone! Hope you've had a great week.

Unfortunately I was unable to get a new build out by the end of this month like I hoped. I just ran out of time and the task was larger then expected.

My current estimate is that the newest build that includes the new Prisoner Exchange Peril will be out next weekend on May the 5th or 6th. I more or less need an extra week for this feature.

With that in mind. Let's get into this weeks progress!

1: What's New?

So this week was spent in both creating the gameplay puzzle logic for placing yourself into the peril rather then punishing a cultist.

When you start the peril your health will drain rapidly and you have to complete the puzzle to escape the devious peril.

In addition I also rigged up and animated the peril this week as well!

As you can see there's more then one type of peril on display. When this new feature is put into the newest build there will be five different combinations of bondage, facegear, tickling tools, and pleasure tools that'll be on display.

So as of right now the functionality is there and works in full, but it's buggy and there's aspects like the UI that I want to look a lot nicer before I release it.

2: What's Next?

Which brings us to what's next! I plan to release this at the end of next weekend. The extra week of work should make the feature run and play more smoothly as well as have better UI!

I hope you're all looking forward to this new feature!

I have a suggestion: considering they're already on-edge scanning through the darkness for enemies, the player is going to be jittery and so I think the penalty should have more emphasis on accuracy than timing. In that vein, I like the idea of your progress being undone by pushing the wrong key. Assuming that you're not under threat by other attacks while the sybian drains your willpower (that would be some unfair puppy-guarding) the normal drain rate should be slow, with larger momentary drops any time the wrong key is hit - plus the lost progress. The panic could be heightened with a warning reading: "Careful!" if health is already at 50%. I just felt that since there was emphasis on positioning to avoid attacks and make wise use of time that this should follow the same pattern, demanding the player slow down and follow the incantation correctly rather than quickly. This will also help once they break free and prepare them for any enemies in a holding pattern waiting to swoop in. Let me know whatcha think!

I find the idea of her willingly binding herself like this but then being caught by cultists in this vulnerable state incredibly hot. Maybe if a cultist approaches you while you're trapped on this sybian, she could start adding more gear/ticklers (or play with you directly) to make the puzzle harder?
