Hi, This is Muchi.

It is the season of summer festivals throughout Japan.

Some are traditional events that have been held since ancient times, and others are newly established events to enliven the community.

Anyway, people are dancing everywhere, night markets are being held, and fireworks are going off.🎆🕺

In my hometown, there is a very old traditional festival.

The festival is characterized by a unique rhythm of people beating big drums and metal plates and making loud, high-pitched noises for three days and three nights throughout the city. Because of this characteristic, the festival calls itself the noisiest festival in Japan, but we do not know what it really is. The festival has been registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Asset, though.

However, it is true that it is really noisy. It is so loud that I cannot even have a conversation with my friend who is walking next to me.

Unfortunately, I could not go this year, but I am very happy that there is a festival that is rooted in the community.

I have been wanting to dress Doujin's heroine in a yukata. Maybe I'll suggest it next time.
