I am behind schedule.

That's the root of it. There's a lot of reasons why, from poor time management to indecision to switching horses mid-stream, but that's the bottom line.

In the scope of how far behind schedule I have fallen in the past, my longest being ten months, this isn't that severe. I was working on one video for a couple weeks, but it wasn't coming together as quickly as I would have liked, then a week ago I switched to working on a different subject entirely, which went from idea to page much, much faster. The complication is that the new video is also a lot more complicated to shoot, consisting at the moment of around 50 different shots in several different scenes.

My aim at the moment is to have one "scene" roughed in by tomorrow evening as a bit of a teaser, but due to complexity it's going to take several more days just to finish shooting everything.

Optimistically that means done by the 8th.

Hopefully after that I can roll right into working on the original script from earlier in the month and have that video complete ~two weeks later.

So: hopefully a preview scene tomorrow evening/Saturday afternoon, with a full video by the 8th.
