A young Ultra cloned from Ultraman Belial’s genetic material who grew up in Japan as Riku Asakura with no idea who or what he was. When Shin Gojira first made landfall in his first form back in 2016, Riku and his alien friend Pega ran into assist innocent civilians after Shin had fled back to the ocean and in doing so found the AI REM and came into conflict with the Alien Sturm, Kei Fukuide, and his monster fusions, some of which included genetic material of the Space Monster King, SpaceGodzilla and Jirass. 

After Shin Gojira reawakened and the Science Patrol subsequently began employing Jet Jaguar and the ambassador Ultraman, Riku tried to apply but was deemed too young and inexperienced. Nevertheless Riku fought a monster that appeared in his Ultra form, Geed, with REM and Pega’s help. It wasn’t until the Gomora incident that Geed was officially brought on and recognised by the Science Patrol and the Ultra’s. 

After discovering Geed and how similar he looked to Belial, Ultraman Zero went to Earth to investigate Geed in addition to trying to discover Belial’s plans with the Cosmic Tyrant, King Ririn. Upon meeting Geed, Zero took an instant liking to him and helped him defeat a Belial fusion monster of Gigan and Zetton. Along with the Science Patrol, Eva, Zero and Geed also managed to keep SpaceGodzilla from lashing out at innocent civilians from around his crystal fortress while they evacuated Zero noting how dangerously violent the SpaceGodzilla has become alongside his armour slowly turning him into a form resembling Arch Belial.

Ultraman Zero attempted to reach out to the SpaceGodzilla who he recognised was lashing out in pain rather than anger, only for Belial to cut him off and fight the Ultraman while SpaceGodzilla retreated into his fortress. Zero accused Belial of manipulating the Kaiju, Belial not denying it and noting that the Land of Light was foolish for not recognising the potential power the SpaceGodzilla had and not using it for themselves in their medals and capsules before now.

Elsewhere, Shin Gojira and Legendary Godzilla have been seen heading for Fukuoka Tower, being escorted by several military ships. Yoroi Godzilla has also been heading in the same direction, presumably to confront SpaceGodzilla.
