Howdy all you amazingly patient patrons!

As I said back in May, we reassessed our plans and realized we couldn't be nearly as aggressive with pursuing production as we wanted. That, coupled with our need to fulfill our freelance contracts, has led to very little headway. It's incredibly frustrating, but that's life.

I hope you've been enjoying Adam's live streams as he tinkers with the look of "Drogune 4.0," but that art is largely without context. You all have been sticking with us for so long I feel like I owe you much more.

So attached below, please find a PDF of the last pass, "Drogune 3.0" if you will. This was slightly modified from the pitch we shopped around to publishers for a year, hoping to make use of all that effort. When reviewing it, though, I realized I was very unhappy with the concessions we'd made to try to make it more appealing to our potential financers.

Be forewarned: there's spoiler content in there. Some ideas you'll recognize from "Drogune 1.0," the webcomic. Some may survive into 4.0. And some are baked in to the long-term plans and I spoilered them because I want to maintain some surprises down the road.

I hope you enjoy a look into the revision process. I hope you enjoy a look at what might have been. If nothing else, I hope it validates your support. (And at the very least, it shows we have been working on something - eesh)

I'm working hard to complete my July commitments so I can make headway into "Drogune 4.0." I'll be sharing that progress too, so hopefully y'all won't be starved for content for too long.

Thanks again for sticking with us, and take care!
- Ian

This reads a lot better than the first draft if each scene is meant to be somewhere around three to six pages. Love the characters and their dynamics, but old version seemed stuck on the stuff around them instead of the group. Really looking forward to next version of the story. Thanks for sharing this!
