it never cease to amaze me how the 1st OP spoiled dragon like years before anybody knew who he was. the manga was in "Whiskey Peak" arc when the anime started so even manga readers didn't knew him.

Whenever I see someone watch op 14, I scream at my screen. Like “you saw nothing, you saw nothing, don’t ask questions just keep going with the reaction”. Honestly, it’s so stressful to watch cause I don’t want that moment to be spoiled for them.

Opening 14 is one of the best openings in One Piece and it’s the only anime opening that has made me cry. I always feel like that song is talking to Luffy during post marine ford and giving him hope to move forward despite the pain he was in. We also got the “I still have my crew” moment in an episode with this opening. So to me it’s telling Luffy, “ you still have your crew, I know you’re in pain but keep going. It will be ok again”. And seeing luffy broken like that was horrible to watch so this opening gives me hope that he’ll be ok. If I hear this song, the “I still have my crew” moment always pops into my head. Especially when Ace gives Luffy a push forward and he starts running to the Sunny with a montage of iconic character moments in the background. It’s awesome.

I think the reason that they use everyone's Fishman Island outfits in the post-timeskip ones are because the crew is so regularly split up and they don't all have matching outfits for example Whole Cake. This was until Wano when they were cohesive again. At least thats my guess
