The Law Kinemon thing makes sense to me. At Punk Hazard, Law never reattached his parts, Kinemon did it himself with the Straw Hats. They never said that Law made a mistake, he only messes up bodies to troll marines, otherwise the Surgeon of Death would have fixed Kinemon right, and I guess it's good he didn't. Now the fart speak, that's something I barely tolerate as logical. As for death scenes, I don't need them to stay dead to feel emotions. I don't think asking for more character deaths is the only way to make a story better. I noticed the best deaths and apparent deaths in One Piece are in front of witnesses, the grief of others is the quality we need, so dying in an empty room is not the style I'm noticing. As long as Momo thinks they're dead for a while, he is sufficiently motivated and there's a purpose.

Touching on to the last comment by Veritas, also in Punk Hazard and this episode we see that seperated body parts do attach effectively to just about anything, ala Luffy wearing Kinemon's legs. I do agree the fake out was uncalled fot.

This goes through chapter 1029- most of 1030. Reccomend looking through 1030. Imteresting comparing how they adapted how oda portrayed it.

glad you like the sign.

Trinity D. Law

Apoo is my least favorite supernova. Hawkins is second to last.

Grandmasta

love that Ruff is still saying Kanjuro instead of Kinemon, lol.

The Thing with Kinemon (while def not the best choice story wise) does make logical sense. Law himself deactivated his power and never put Kinemon back together, the straw hats did. Its just like his legs this ep, they'll stick to other objects (like the Giraffe or i n this case Kinemons upper body) but of you put enough force behind it they will separate again.

I always thought that Kinemon got a great death scene in EP1015/Chapter 1000 on the roof. He should have either died there or not taken the types of damage he did the rest of the time in my opinion because what we got was . . . not Oda's best. My least favorite of the Supernova's is Urouge, he's just been super boring so far. At least I remember Apoo exists versus Urouge not even being present lmao.

The strawhats put Kinemon back together so i think its because Law himself didnt do it.

Urouge is the only supernova that has defeated a Yonko commander though (except for luffy and zoro). I personally like him a lot. He looks badass, his fruits power is badass and might be even more broken if it’s awakening is what I would Theorize it to be. He is 100% gonna play a role in the story although he doesn’t seem like a challenge to luffy anymore but more like an ally probably

With all the insanity, Law honestly probably either forgot, or decided it wasn’t a priority to put him back together properly (which ended up being a good thing for Kin).

Rough this is just my inner mother comming out but I worry about you when I see your levels of merch. Hope things are just doing amazing and you aren't over spending. Hope the best for you and your family.

I think thats a good way to look at it I think it would be more of an issue if Law was the one who reattached him with his own ability and that happened but since thats not the case it's at least explainable.

SonicKing2004

Actually it's not that "Law didn't reattach him properly" and more like Law didn't reattach him AT ALL. If you recall it was the Straw Hats that found his pieces and put him back together, and the only thing that Law did after establishing his alliance with Luffy was to put the hearts of Luffy's crew and of Smoker's back in their proper places and to return Smoker's literal heart to him. I don't know if they showed him doing anything to Kinemon in the Manga, but in the anime he hardly ever interacted with him save to yell at him. So here's what I think: because he was put back together by someone other than Law the devil fruit power was still in effect, and while he could be stuck together in a way that resembled his actual form (much like how the marines at Shabody were assembled as a mishmash) unless Law does it himself he's not truly one yet. Basically Kinemon got lucky that Kaido's final attack happened to be along the same line that Law had cut him on.

I don’t think it makes sense the way they’re saying he got cut. Kaido impaled him with a sword right In the middle of his stomach it never looked like he cut him in half during the scene, then theres also all the blood loss.

I didn’t like the Kinemon Fakeout Death, but it totally makes sense with everything we had and have seen this far. As other have said, Law never put him together with his power, the strawhats did somewhat. And we have seen that those „cut“ parts stick to other things like magnets, but also can be separated again with enough force. Like kinemons leg sticking to the dragon, or luffy, but then can be easily separated again. So it makes total sense, and is not a „plothole“ at all, even tho I don’t like it as I said
