It's... POSSIBLE Nanase Craft's alignment is more neutral than Nanase Kitsune's.

EDIT - Fixed a typo

Every time I read the words "Nanase Craft" I picture Nanase in an outfit with pauldrons bigger than her head.

McZed

"How much extra?" "59 percent surcharge. 69 percent if it's world-destroying evil." "... That's quite a bargain." "It's a buyer's market."

I don't know why exactly, but I can't stop laughing at "I'm looking at it in a way that charges extra."

Anonymous

And I just noticed that the word "it" was left out in the comic.

Kyman201

Seems legit.

I don't know. I'd expect some sort of sliding scale. Something running from: "Bad people die." to "Good people die." all the way up to "World-wide coffee monopoly."

McZed

Regular evil -> world destroying evil -> world turned into Doritos evil -> world turned into an unfathomable nightmare world from whence there can be neither respite nor escape evil -> puppy kicking evil.

RobertC

Chaotic Neuuuuutraaaaaalllll

Dragon Writer Luc

Now I wonder what exactly this thing does. Another thing I wonder: what’s Diane’s last name?

egscomics

I haven't decided. There's an actual reason she didn't use it in the story comics (she wasn't exactly eager to use her full name in that context), but here, it's a joke / lampshading of people mistaking her for Sarah.

Jacob Barboza

Nanase Craft is awesome. True fact.

M.

Diane looks like she's really enjoying being the villain. :)

Daryl Sawyer

Not sure where "chaotic" fits in. This seems straight-up true neutral, of the self-interested variety (as opposed to the philosophical variety). Could even turn out to be lawful, depending on how far she'll go to fulfill her contract just for the sake of fulfilling her contract.

Oh, I suppose that is Diane. I'll get used to the new haircut eventually, maybe.

Stephen Gilberg

Glad you didn't render her as blocky as the original Lara Croft.

Neutral greedy

Brian Kim

I love sassy Diane

50% surcharge, unless you try to weasel out of paying extra by trying to suggest there's some skewed view that wouldn't count your actions as evil... in which case I'm charging 2500%. I claim I do this just to teach those people lessons, but really, it's because all of my clients want artifacts for evil reasons they try to claim aren't evil.

"I'm looking at it in a way that charges extra." Snerk.

AstroChaos

Which I totally did till this strip. I mean, not in cannon but here.
