After the next set of polls, I want to significantly reduce my workload while still giving all y'all cool stuff and rewards for the, well, reward Tiers. I'm thinking of replacing current options with others for at least until I'm caught up on things.

An idea I have (which I'm fully admitting is inspired by other clever people), is to have the $5+ tiers vote on a sequence as it progresses throughout the month, having some say at each stage of it.

It would basically be like voting on what happens in the next panel of a comic as it's being made.

People in $3+ tiers would be able to see stages of the sequence as they're completed, but not vote on it.

After the sequence is completed, it would be made public.

I really like that idea! We might get some surprising results.

I like the idea, but I have one suggestion: you pick the character(s) featured. If we're going to see the same character(s) through the whole sequence, I'd much rather see someone who hasn't already been in dozens of milestone images, and I've seen enough character votes to know it's usually the same few characters who get the most votes.

I am perfectly in favor of this.

I’m not fussed. I like reading El Goonish Shive, and contribute to support the making of it. Rewards don’t worry me much.

I wonder if ur workload wouldn't be significantly easier & more fun with less involvement from your patreons. E.g. you get an urge to do a sketch of ___ so you do, but u make a minor tweak & tadah 1 reward drawing complete. This was also fun for you so there was no struggle to make time. I voted no to encourage you to move more in a direction similar to this.

I think this will actually be more work based on what you’ve said in the past about how you do your workflow. I mean, if you want to, sure, but I voted no because I don’t think it will have the intended effect.

I think this is a wonderful idea. My absolute favorite perk of being a patron is having a say on what's to come.
