Politely asking first doesn't work during a non-canon transformation rampage.

For one, everyone's agreed to random transformations already.

For two, you just know you're gonna wind up getting transformed instead.

I wasn't planning on transforming Ashley beyond the nifty genie outfit, but once this idea entered my head (and the idea for the comic to follow it), kitty-genie Ashley became destiny.

Thank you Dan, for taking away the human ears when you give them cat ears. It makes more sense to me than drawing them with four ears. ^_^

I choose to imagine that Kitty would have wished Ashley to be a cat girl even if she didn't have magical powers.

It would have added a couple more panels but I think there might have been a missed opportunity to have Ashley react by transforming Kitty into a kitty-girl as well and they could be kitty-friends together. :D
