It's amazing to see the difference some better looking hair makes! These shots are all work in progress and I'm still figuring out the ideal pipeline for Hairworks - but it's actually starting to look pretty cool! (and kinda 80's haha!) This is all using the same style and just tweaking in game parameters (Root and tip colour, waviness, clumping etc.)

I plan to have some basic hair customisation options in the demo, later builds will have many different styles and parameters to play with.

As well as hair, I've greatly improved the eye shader and the look at/head turning system. I also added occlusion to the eyeball which was such a small change but made a HUGE difference to the realism of the overall face. The lip shader has also been improved and looks much nicer!

Another thing - I've added joint corrective morphs to the legs and it's made a big difference to the overall body shape, with much less distortion and bulging around the knee, thigh and pelvis when bending the legs to more extreme angles. I might add more of these to other parts of the body which will improve areas like the shoulders and elbows.

This is just a small part of what I've been working on the last few weeks - I'll try to update here more often! Perhaps a video soon showing off the new hair :P
