Showing Off a Fancy Classic-Style House (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Chloe here to bring you all another Patreon post!

As some of you may have noticed, most of our previous showcases featured more modern furniture. As such, for the past month, I’ve been focusing on bringing more furniture variety to the game. For today’s post, let’s look at this more old-chic house I’ve been working on! 

The house from this previous Patreon post now has a new neighbour with a completely different vibe!

For this house, I kept to warm neutrals with a little punch of elegant navys and burgundys here and there. I couldn’t help adding a little bit of a punch of color!

The living room, with arches leading to the dining room and kitchen. I’m a big fan of the mirror over the fireplace, as it makes the space instantly more luxurious.

Another view of the living room. Of course, the piano and pendulum clock were a must for this type of decor.

The dining room, with its looooong table (thanks, resizing!). We get to see some of the new paintings I created for this house, since we needed something different from the other paintings we already had. It did make me practice my still-lives, though!

The bedroom with our new bed, side tables and bench. Listen, I’d usually say a burgundy carpeted floor is a crime, but for this house, it DID fit.

Our new closet and dresser. They are bulkier than the other closets and dressers we already had in-game!

A discerning office was very much needed for this house. When creating the space, I had in mind a Para that was a retired lawyer: not a banker, like what the banker table lamp may have suggested.

Seems our lawyer is busy registering to our Patreon…  By the way, there may (or may not) be a secret under the desk. It will be up to you all to investigate when you get your hands on the game!

Other than antique furniture items, I also created some clutter. They are mostly hidden in the house’s bathroom.

Soaps, face creams, toothbrushes and toothpaste… The team’s favourite is the toilet paper rolls (which you can stack, so you know why it’s a favourite) and the tissue box!

That is it for this week. I hope you enjoyed seeing a new style of house and furniture this time around. We think having a good variety in furniture will be perfect to create houses for Paras with different preferences and lifestyles, so we will be working towards expanding our style catalog for in-game furniture and decor.
