So, who are all these new weirdoes? Gearing up for Brooke's return home during her first break from college means new characters and families. Brooke's character gravity is spinning off new, stimulating ecosystems of dysfunctional characters, first at college, and now at home.

Javier was sketched a bit ago as a friend of Brooke's brother. This is his mother and sister. I tried to keep Sophia more compact and short, though still ended up with long shapely legs. Her daughter is shorter and more slender - both have a wasp waist. These are just prelim designs. I'm trying to not depict every woman as athletic, though even Sophia looks a bit fit here. Ah well. She may end up with an even bigger butt by the time she winds up in comics.

In related news, with all these sketches, I've started really nailing down the stories for Brooke to come home to. I'm going to begin posting new pages of Brooke Goes To College no later than this summer. Hopefully sooner. Look for new characters, as well as some old familiar ones.
