Patreon tiers have been updated! (Patreon)

Heya everyone!

As many of you already know, Patreon is changing the way they charge taxes on your pledges. After reading over the guidelines, I've determined a set up that will be the most fair to all of you.

In order to accomplish that, I have decided that the Patreon tiers need an overhaul. For the vast majority of you, you should result in an increased value for your pledge! The only major loss for members of the lower tiers is no longer being able to access the Gallery. The reason for making the Gallery exclusive to Juniors and Seniors is because I've folded many of the benefits they were receiving into the system, such as the SFW and NSFW short stories.

A new addition to the tiers is the $1 Guest tier, which allows access to the monthly exclusive build 15 days after higher tier patrons do. This additional tier will allow for patrons who want to support the project but are unable to afford the higher tiers a cheaper alternative. This also has the added benefit of setting the base value of build access when Patreon charges you tax on it.

Lastly, I've simplified some of the benefits on the tiers to make things a little less confusing. For example, Freshman patrons will be able to access SFW sketches AND art packs, when before the change they only had access to the sketches while Sophomores had access to the the art packs. Hopefully the new tiers are laid out so what you're getting is more clear!

I think that covers everything I wanted to say. Patreon will implement its tax changes on July 1st, so be prepared to see a little bit more than usual taken out of your account next billing cycle! Overall it shouldn't be a whole lot, something like a 5 to 10% additional charge on top based on the benefits being provided, and I've done everything I can to ensure that percentage is as small as I can feasibly make it.
