This was so great, I loved knowing your thoughts so far. Hopefully you guys can do more of these discussions, it feels like talking to a friend💜 Now, about the show, everyone I voted for actually got into the I-land so I was pretty pleased with the results. However, I do agree that they should have shown more clips of the contestants who didn't make it, at least a final interview to wrap things up. Speaking of evil editing, while we all here know it's an entertainment show with many hidden purposes, it's still upsetting to see when it happens cause I've seen many viewers latch on to what is being portrayed, without giving much thought.

I agree with you guys about sometimes not being able to narrow down a bias. I have three or four in BTS. Maybe they're just all my biases and bias wreckers lol.

I think I have 2 biases in BTS, too. I say "think" since it's been like that for a long time... but then it's also a back and forth. So~... I don't know? Maybe it's back to only one bias now (my first one). I cannot tell. 😅 Still two then? But love all 7 anyway. As for I-LAND, there's currently nothing to add cause I mentioned all of it already in another comment. 🤔 BUT I'm also tired and the heat makes my head all mush. ✌️ As always, looking forward to your next videos. My bts bias is Namjoon he was the one I notice first then Jimmy because I used to dance contemporary ballet

The smile literally never left my face I'm so happy to see a new eggie's point of view so now I have three aggies to enjoy and just from the little teasers, DNA gave me a strong stage presence especially since in my opnion they have the main powerfull dancers: K, Jay, Niki, Hanbin

I always wait for this kind of segment from ILAND reactors(the other reactor that I follow for this show is DKDKTV in YT, they're the complete opposite of your reaction, they are blunt🤣🤣) its really nice to know different toughts about the the show or to the applicants🥰

Once again, my favorite discussion session is back – and with Roseae!! Welcome back auntie #2! (Btw I have two biases in TXT so I feel you lol) Watching you guys talking about the show really got me some new perspective and epiphany moments. I totally agree with you about many different factors other than talent we consider when we feel attached to the I-Landers. You get to know their stories, their struggles and dream, and when that is conveyed through a good performance, that brings up something about yourself – your own struggles and dream. That was exactly how I felt with Sunoo and Heeseung. So thank you for pointing that out cause it made it clear for me that I’m not just rooting for a singer or a dancer, but an artist. Also, you guys talking about harsh competition inside I-Land reminded me of TXT’s training days. Every time they recall back when they were trainees, they talk about how harsh and demanding it was. Especially when they had to retake the final evaluation for debut, they say it was almost devastating. But what they also keep saying is that they now realize that those hard times actually trained them to make it through after they debut. After you debut and go out there, it’s a real competition. It’s no longer competing between 12 applicants, but you have to survive among hundreds and thousands of amazingly huge and talented artists. So I see it that the producers are purposely putting the applicants into pressure and train them so that they can learn how to overcome it, or better still, take advantage of it and take it as motivation. One last thought, I think it’s important to remember that this show is a combination of idol debut project and a reality show. They share the process with the public and reflect our votes into evaluation system, but that doesn’t mean we get to decide who’s making it to the group and who’s not, nor does it mean that the producers will decide it solely based on popularity. This show is not created for our entertainment out of nowhere, it's part of BigHit's debut project. And BigHit has been training and making artists for more than a decade, and we had the privilege to take part in it.

Can I also share my thought about things you pointed out?(I also do't have friend that watches the show to share thoughts) -how the show was edited/produced. Its really disappoiting how they're trying too hard to create drama. It makes sense though that they are targeting those who questions Sunoo since he's the most popular in SK, they're trying to get SK attention bc this show despite being well invested didn't receive much attention in SK & continously having low rating. -the ranking system & benifits. this is a good way to test their mentality & I agree w/ Ms. Rosé explaination about this. In my opinion, being on top both have priviledges & pressure, and being related to BTS adds more pressure to it. If the ILANDERS will see the purpose of this system they will be more prepared to take pressure when they debut. This reminds me of how mentally strong TXT kids are, I think they undergone same training like this before thats why when people shaming them as "priviledge BTS younger brothers" & almost all their achievements are credit also to BTS, they seems unbothered about it or they took it very well, hope ILANDERS will also make it. -Test 1 ranking. I also thing I Need U will be the first, I already explained in my other comment why I think so. -TXT x ILANDERS interaction(I hope it will happen in the future💜💜💜). I've been think about this WHAT IF the 3rd test will involve TXT??? Why? Its producers' time to rank again in test 3 right and I think it best for them to use songs that they knew everything about to evaluate them, like they're the same producers that work with TXT..hmm and also I think TXT's song is a good material to test versatility(their song are very diverse) & during the test 3 theres only 10 of them so WHAT IF they will be divided into 2units w/ 5 members each..see perfect😅😅😅idk then give them a set of song with TXT's cute song, r&b/slow song & dark-themed song..like (cat&dog—20cm—CYSM) or (drama/blue orangeade—fairy of shampoo—puma)..whatever I'm just exited thinking about it...(peace if there's someone here not into TXT) Last did I miss or Ms. Rosé didn't finish mentioning her top7. She only mentioned 1-2(Daniel/Jungwoon) and 3-4(Heeseung/K)??? Anyway, as always love your reaction. See you next time😊

This makes me really wonder how they trained TXT bc those kids seems not just skilled & talented but also strong minded, I think mental training is really part of BH's training program.

I really love the dynamic between all three of you, you all three give so much to the conversation it's wonderful to listen to. All three of you looked like angels! I've only been an ARMY for about 2 years now and been a MOA since pre-debut. Oddly it's easier for me to pick a bias and bias wrecker for TxT than it is for BTS. And I think it's because I've been with TxT from the beginning compared to BTS. For example, my bias is Soobin and Bias wrecker is Taehyun, but I do love all of the others as well but I gravitate to both of them more. BTS has bounced around a bit and it just feels like I'm cheating on the other person (I know it's odd but I love them all so much). But for a while now it's been Jin, Taehyung, and Namjoon. Jin and Tae for a while has switched back and forth for me as bias'. So I completely understand why all three of you keep going back and forth between members. I think Fake Love is going to get first, and it's how Mnet is cutting their scenes. As far as K and his reaction to the ranking, I thought that it was a very real emotion, I would be like that (the feeling of confusion and not feeling it was right). It's a lot of factors of K has never been to ground, no one having the full information on the voting either (how people didn't vote for certain people because they knew they would be saved and voted for other grounders instead). Something that stood out with K was that he wasn't questioning his position but more Heesungs, which I like. As far as the ranking for rooms and feeling the pressure all the time. I really do believe that this is probably what it is like as a trainee as well. This is just not a reality TV show where when this is done they go back to their normal lives but they will become Idols and have immense pressure all the time. I believe that they do the room rankings and feeling of competition all the time to see who can live up to the pressure because that is what the life of an Idol will be for them. Pressure to do better than the comeback before and competition from other groups. And last thing (sorry it's so long), is that I wonder what I-landers will be named as from people. For instance, TxT was named BTS' little brothers and they still are called that. I hope they are not called anything like that. I hope people see them as their own group from BTS, and TxT. Because sadly TxT hasn't gotten rid of that name of little brothers, which I personally hate because they have proven from day one that they are their own group with their own style. Ultimately with this last thought I just wanted to see what ya'll thought about it. Like will I-landers be called BTS little cousins or brothers and when advertised that's what they would say first. Anyways, Borrahae 💜💜

The editing and production, I'm not sure if I 100% agree with you because they were doing that type of editing from episode 1 with Geonu not voting for Heesueng and Niki voting Taki out of I-land. Ranking system I completely agree with you, everyone has talent but you also have to mentally be prepared to be an Idol. I think Fake Love will get first just because of Mnets editing so far. I would love to see TxT and I-landers interact, definitely since TxT has just recently debuted and can give more insight of their experience debuting after BTS and the challenges, but also the CHOAS that would be had! I can see them doing that with 2 units of 5 members in each. Out of the songs you mentioned. 20cm and FOS; Drama and Cat and Dog; or CYSM and PUMA, if broken into two units.

Exactly!! Also, every single member in BTS and TXT has such deep thoughts about their responsibilities as an artist, and how to deal with possible conflicts within the team and work it out.

Yeah if they meet TXT its like seeing themselves in the near future and it would give them the glimpse of how/what its like to be BTS jrs and overcoming its pressure. Lets just hope it happens...For the test 1, I biasly(is there a word like that) agree with you but I'm worried for fake love unit, yeah bc of mnet editing we could expect something from this unit.

Loved the discussion. I think the word you were looking for was "Manipulated?" The show tries to manipulate our feelings by showing members in a certain light and I do not like how they portrayed K's legitimate concern about how I_Landers perceive who the top are vs. the global vote. I also think the other word for Sunoo and Daniel is "Charisma", which is what Taehyung was eluding to when he said theres a difference between handsome and attractive. That's what global fans "feel" and explains why we are so drawn to Sunoo and Daniel and why they got 1 and 2. Bang PD has pretty much dropped spoilers s to his favs and we all know he's got a great track record for picking his artists. Right now, I'm using strategy for my 2 votes. I have always give my one vote to my number 1, Sunoo, and because Jungwon is on the edge, I have to vote for him to ensure he makes it. I've said it before, he's the ideal center/main vocal like JK. But I also love Sunghoon, Heeseung, K, Jay, Jake , Daniel and Niki. That's 9 - uggh. This will be a nail-biter till the end. Friday is big day - Dynamite Comeback and Ep 8, we'll all have to have some cocktails together, I want ARMY to crush the 24hr most view record! Hwaiting!

Regarding the evil editing, yeah I'm aware thet they've been doing it since ep1 but the purpose is the same to attract viewers mostly SK, I heard somewhere survival/reality show fanatic in SK loves drama that's why I specifically mentioned this one envolving Sunoo and K. I found it too obvious that MNET is just trying to make some drama here bc in part 1 K was one of trusted among trainee & then they even gave him that "reliable hyung" nickname. Well this is how the show is, its up to us viewers if we gonna buy that.

Well if biasly isn't a word it is now. lol Fake Love subunit has my bias in it, sooo I really hope they do well. I'm even okay with second place to be honest. With only 12 left all 3 units have a favorite and Friday is going to be heartbreaking to see someone go. I mean overall I understand about the editing, American reality shows really squeeze as much drama out of their shows as they can. I guess for me it's kinda refreshing to have a "reality" show not be almost 100% drama, like most shows tend to end up being. But on the flip side I understand why other countries would like to watch that, and to tell you the truth for a few years I did too. I think a lot of people understand what is going on if they have watched enough reality tv so I don't think they are buying it.

I think we all know that mnet likes to create characters and dynamics and that's not necesarilly bad thing ( as you said it makes us feel something towards contestants and it will be a huge factor in building their fandom) - the only thing that i wish was done differenty is that all 12 of them have equal screentime and had a chance to show their skills and personality. A lot of boys gained huge popularity because at some point they had an opportunity to shine (for example in unit stages). I hope that in those 3 performances that we will be watching on Friday mnet won't focus on the same people, but will try to show everyone equally as much as possible. What bothers me is also the voting system. We are currently voting for test 2 which hasn't even been announced. It sorts of make all their efforts in vain, because regardless of their performance on this specific test most votes will be already casted. I feel like this takes away from the show dynamics and causes a lot of unnecessary chaos. It also makes it look even more staged :( I love the show and boys, don't get me wrong. I just have this feeling of injustice and it bothers me :( Anyway, thank you for your reactions and discussion, I enjoy them a lot because I can tell how much you're into the show and that your channel is made out of passion and love for music and our precious boys :) I'm sending love from Europe :) Next time I feel like i should prepare some drinks before watching tho ;)

I haven't even thought about how the global votes that are being input right now may be playing into the test 2! hmm if this is the case.. wow you're right we haven't even seen the episode yet. also it really is unfortunate and very clear to me that the show is pushing people a certain way esp since this is not only a reality show.. these trainees' futures depend on it. I know I'm happy at the moment because my faves are still in it but sometimes this makes me wonder if I am just susceptible to the mnet/big hit push!

i love how you point out that maybe they are mirroring BTS hyyh..but remmber the I-land intro itself qoutes the Demian qoute about the egg..remmber in Wings era..it is inspired by Demian..so yeah..I-land was planned like 50 yrs before..hahaha do you think Bangpd dnt have a long ass storyline? nahhh...the I-land building alone was planned for 3yrs..so im not surprise with the upcoming storyline for I-land.
