Thank you so much. This episode made me so mad because now everyone hates K. He is my favorite there so i feel really sad about it. I didn't think what he said was bad and i felt people were overreacting about it an This facial expressions. He was shocked and so were the other people but onlY him said what was in his mind and i respect him for that. Mnet editing is evil

Did you notice during the snack scene at the beginning RM snuck a small bag of chips and covertly ate it. Then told JK to put back snacks as the kids had 40 days. At that time he was brushing off his hands to get rid of the crumbs. Sneaky! You know Hobi will spot this when he watches the episode.

I stopped 1:30h in just to say something... Controversial. Honestly... Daniel and Sunoo shouldn't be ranked that high. They are only this popular right now because they are cute. They are talented but all the Trainees are talented and... When my Friends and me watched the Live Stream we realized... We really don't care for them anymore? Like "They'll get in the group anyway because of their looks so why care, let's concentrate on the others". I know that sounds mean but it's how I currently feel. I don't think it did them good to be THAT high in the rankings because I honestly think at least like... 4 others deserve it more/seem more ready for debut.

I really need there to be at least 5 Guys in the group that aren't just... Cute Visual wise or I won't be able to stan them and that would suck because I'm invested now. At least K, Heesung, Jay and Sunghoon need to make it.

What you said about Sunoo is exactly my problem and why I don't like him anymore. He is sk popular that he will make it anyway so I just don't care about him anymore. I have like 1 Person in every Group I just don't vibe with and he is it for me in Iland. (Jin in BTS, HueningKai in TXT, Chen in EXO... I think im too depressed and cynical to like People like that)

I see what you mean but I think they were ranked so high because global votes were trying to save them from elimination. Now that we're down to these twelve, I'm sure they'll be ranked lower. That being said, they're still very talented. They just need more experience. Considering Daniel is the youngest, he has many years to be one of the most talented people out there. He's got a lot of potential. And about their looks, I personally never thought about their looks, but I guess that's just me hahahaha. I guess they're cute? Hahahaha

It's nice to see you two react to this together. Can't wait to see all three of the sisters get together😊 I have a tough time watching these types of show because i always feel bad when they get eliminated. Everytime they pick the ranking 😯 it make me nervous. Then seeing bts there was so fun .I like how'd they have a dramatic entrance and then bam! they just become a hot mess with them messing with the names on the chairs🤣. J-hope really does watch the show and he know there names and everything about them. Tae was so cute in this and i can't wait till BTS are able to meet them in person it's going to be adorable. I love how all the gifts they gave actually had a great purpose and the message was nice.

It's less about them being popular and more about the Reason they are so popular. When people tell me they voted for Daniel and Sunoo it's always *They are so cute* *they are adorable* or *they are talented* but never something more specific like: I like their singing, dancing, performance ec.

I have barely started your reaction (I love it btw), but just a little thought on whole Sunoo and Daniel ranking vs I landers : Sunoo and Daniel are fan favorites, that's obvious. I however think the rankings are not yet representative of true popularity, because fans voted strategically from the beginning to save their favorite grounders / speculated ejected I landers, and didn't vote as much for their main picks if they thought they were not in danger (Heesung, Jungwon, Sunghoon, Jay, Jake and K) which lead to these results.

Only voting 2 trainees every day is killing me. My top 7 as hard as it is, is Heeseung, Jungwon, Jake, Jay, Sunghoon, K, and Daniel. I feel they are all the most rounded and can fill multiple roles in the group. Heeseung, Jungwon, K, and Sunghoon can rep vocal line while Jake, Daniel, and Jay hold down rap line. We already see Jake is doing Suga’s verse in I Need U from the preview so 🤞

OMG this episode was amazing. So much suspense and drama!!!! I think that even if Taki's team performs worst (which is no guarantee from the teaser), then Taki would get the lowest score :( Even if the team is last, the lowest score from the 2nd and 3rd place team leaves so honestly it could be Taki unless they do something spectacular and come first as a team.

Right?! I did the same, and a lot of people guessed who wouldn't be eliminated from I-land (I didn't think Geonu was going to go to the Ground) so they would not get as many votes since they were "safe".

I don't get why some people find Sunoo and Daniel being popular "controversial", which I don't think is even a right word to describe that subjective feeling of rejection. If you think that the program shouldn't have incorporated Global Vote into the evaluation system, then I get you. You might think that the participants should only be evaluated by producers and experts. However, BigHit decided to put popular vote into the system in order to reflect public's opinion, which they think is as crucial as producers' when it comes to making an idol group. So if you agree on global vote but you don't think the ones that are popular are the "right ones", I have nothing to say. That's how it is, deal with it. And if you think the popular ones will get in the group anyway, that's definitely not true because both the global vote(Test 2 and 4) and the producers' decision(Test 1 and 3) decide who's dropping out, not who's saved. That means you need to be both 1. talented so that the producers won't eliminate you, and 2. popular so that the global vote won't drop you out, which, to me, seems perfectly reasonable. Plus, Sunoo and Daniel did way more than just being cute on camera. Daniel got one of the highest scores from the producers with the signal song, and so did Sunoo during 'Fire'. They both were representative vocals for Test 3, and Daniel wasn't even one of them in the beginning but he kept practicing and was finally recognized by the producers during the mid-evaluation. These were all results of their effort, their skills, and their potential as a Global Idol, not something you would get just by "being naturally cute". They made their own ways to shine and get recognized by the audience and the airtime spent on them reflected that effort. That's how people got to know how talented they are, or even how cute they are. And even if they did get plus point from the vote for being cute, why does that mean they don't deserve their rank?

I'm not the biggest Fan of Voting because most people tend to vote for people they are attracted to or find cute, not the ones that are really talented. Even with the voting they shouldn't be that high. 5-7 I could totally understand but not higher. I'm generally not a big fan of debuting Taki or Daniel, they don't seem ready emotionally. Sunoo probably should also train another year or 2 and make sure he is 100% because I had seen that he isn't that healthy before and with the new info I'm worried about his health. Also, the Producers might be swayed and won't eliminate the really popular Trainees to make sure they make cash. Sunoo is good, I never said the 2 weren't but he doesn't have that... Confidence or Pull yet and Daniel seems just too young. In my Opinion none of the Guys under 18 should debut and I liked a lot of those. Not the biggest Fan of Baby Idols in most Cases.

I really don't think any of them are *just* cute, though I do think we have only seen very brief glimpses of some of them, so I try to hold judgement. As for the editing - I agree there is some shady editing! Mostly on K and Sunoo this episode (finally showing us the cute side of Niki!), as far as I noticed. It's a TV program and they want drama to attract ratings, but c'mon! They are going to be your future Idols and why create content that can be used to undermine their personalities?! It baffles me.

I wonder when an official debut would take place for the final group? Even once the team is formed, it would be quite a while before they actually could record new music, learn all-new choreo, etc. Am I right? Would it be this year of next? Unless BigHit has cookie-cutter music and choreo ready to go??? Which I would really not like?????

Bravo, I'm still shaking - Im so happy but also traumatized - this show does that ... and as for Bangtan Sonyeondon, there are no words to describe how much I love and appreciate them. 6 Days and counting. Yes, I will push for Jungwon. He is our future center in my opinion!

Its this year. They have confirmed it multiple time through the shows and also during the BH briefing. And imo nothing bh does is cookie cutter... even if they make the songs before the group is decided (which they probably have) that's not a bad thing. They'll slowly start getting involved in their music eventually, if that's what you're worried about. TXT weren't involved in their debut album and that was amazing and slowly all of them have started to participate more for the other 2 and I'm sure even more on the one in the fall. Iland will probably be the same. Which is fine cause tbh just because a group has a member who can produce, doesn't always mean those are going to be the best songs. Not everyone can be BTS.

It sounds like you've made up your mind and it's not anyone's job here to change it. You've stated your opinions in the comments and that's cool that you're being honest. But just because global voting didn't go the way you wanted for reasons you don't agree with (and you'll never know why people voted the way they did and they don't need to explain why they did to you) doesn't justify actively putting down the Top 2 because they got a lot of votes on a survival show where voting to save your faves is part of the show; especially for the Grounders. I know you're stating your opinion, but don't you think it's a bit harsh to direct so much negativity towards the Top 2? Just because they were top 2 today does not guarantee that they'll be top 2 or top 7 next test.

I agree with your point. The ranking would have been quite different if they made a clearer imstruction on how they gonna use those votes. They literally say its for grounders to be saved & some people even 'strategized' not voting those 'secured' trainees particularly Heeseung. Also about K reaction (to me) is something expected from them they don't know whats going on outside that cube— how the show was edited or how the people outside reacts to them. They could only rank themselves base on what they saw durimg practices & paerformance which is more on skills, so thats why THEY not just K expected ohter trainee to ranked 1st or so. I'm not sayig the tops are not that skilled or talented but in terms of those things I would also expect other trainees to be there and for me that's Heeseung & Jungwoon (Ace Sr. Ace Jr🙂). Lets just see how their popularity would change.

That traumatized me all over again having to watch the ten being eliminated haha. I really hope the boys that got eliminated get into good companies after this and debut because they all are talented. Also, I was so sad to not see BTS meet the i-landers in real life, but I had an inkling that would happen. BUT we got a good segment of them giving some very good advice so that's a plus! This whole voting system is very crazy to me. Like what if the producers vote someone down, but then in the next test global voting votes them up again. Does that kinda cancel each other out? But I guess I just need to remember that this is a show for viewers' entertainment, as well as a competition for these guys to debut hahaha. I can't wait until the next episode. I want to see them perform those BTS songs so bad! And I don't think Taki's team will do that bad. The show edited it like they will, but that team has pretty good members. Fake Love is a hard song. Anyone, any suggestions or thoughts on who would be the best for that song out of the i-landers? Like who would you pick for your four-member team to try Fake Love or any of the other songs??? Hahaha this is like coming up with a fantasy football team, but with i-landers hahahaha

For Fake love team, I'd keep Heesung and Sunghoon, but I'd replace Taki and Sunoo with Geonu and Niki. Niki seems perfect for marionette dance, Geonu is the one who sings higher easier, so Heesung and Sunghoon get much needed help on these fronts and can sing and / or rap and give a good performance. Plus I can see Sunoo doing great in I need U, and Taki in DNA.

Since everyone already talking about the ranking and I already shared my opinion about it on weverse. I just want to share my reaction to the units for the 1st Test( so excited) I honestly think they got the song that matches them well, so... 1.) I Need U (Jungwoon, Geunoo, Jake & Daniel): this group is definitely full of emotional vocalist which is much needed to the song and they're good dancers too. Jungwoon & Geunoo are on top in terms of vocals, then there's Daniel, I think we'll gonna see him rap in this song and of course Jake also have a good voice and he improved a lot in terms of overall performance, he knows now how to present himself on stage. So far, I think this group will rank 1st. 2.) DNA (K, Jay, Niki & Hanbin): isn't this a dance line group? I think they're gonna do best in terms of the choreography so It will come down to their vocals which we haven't heard that much yet. If they could pick the right person for Jimin's & V's part(as BTS said its one of the main points of the song) I think they'll gonna do good, I'm not worried about the rap part bc they have Jay & Hanbin they did amazing in rappping from their entrance test, so biggest challege for this group is the vocals. 3.) FAKE LOVE ( Taki, Heeseung, Sunghoon & Sunoo): this team worries me the most not just because my top picks(Heeseung & Sunghoon) are in here but on top of that its really a hard song to perfom BOTH vocals & dance & everything about it( not that the other 2 songs are easy, but fake love is just on another level— BTS themselves agreed to its difficulty). If they somehow pull this off they already proved something. Like I said each team actually got the song that matches them, for Fake Love I really think Heeseung, Sunghoon & Sunoo ( with either K/Jay) should do it, for Taki I think he fits more in DNA. Sticking to the members of this unit, I believe Heeseung will be in charge of the killer parts, for the high note vocals it will be shared by Sunoo and Sunghoon, well we all knew Sunoo have that vocals(remember Save Me) & for Sunghoon(remember "now listen to the beating of my heart" part in I&Credible), I believe in them with practice they could give justice to the vocals. Taki of course still has something to add he could actually share the rap parts with Heeseung, remember they both did the PART 5 for I&Credible and some even said he did better than Heeseung in that part, which is the rap part of the song. I will be looking forward to this unit. Thats it! I'm just excited for the next episode. PEACE, LOVE & RESPECT guys☺

For voting, I have definitely a top 2 picks but I really realy want Jungwoon on the team and he deserves it, realizing how Jungwoon doesn't have much supporters makes me sad😭. I will split my vote to the 3 of them. Heeseung, Sunghoon & Jungwoon.

AAAAAH, so glad it reached you in time! (Honestly, I was really shocked when I heard my name, I had to stop the video for a moment. 🤣) I just feel every vote counts now and if it would've been me, I would have regretted not even voting on the 1st day. 🥺 And since we can only cast votes for 2 per day... First some general feedback: - Thank you for always making me laugh so much, you're sometimes so hilarious! 🤣 Btw, I really never mind any technical/recording (or else) issues. - I always LOVE a SISTER REACTION. 😊 It's been a few hours since I watched this, but I'll try to gather some of my thoughts. - BTS made EP. 7 easier to watch by just being their usual selves and I love them even more for it. They're hilarious! 🤣 Love how they gave counsel/tips/feedback and those thoughtful gifts! Also, maybe they also didn't show BTS addressing the concerns of some of them since they already got an intro vid in the beginning. Whereas the "new" I-LANDers got one then...well, except Geonu and Ni-Ki. Hmm... But Ni-Ki got way more screen time, showing more of his personality. Ah, well... 몰라 - The editing made me really feel uncomfortable (not the first time, obviously) and it's so unfortunate that the show runners feel the need to do this in such a blatant way. *sigh* - Sunoo and Daniel top spots? Deserved. (As would've someone else, too.) I hope it gives them even more motivation to run towards their dreams and that they felt more happy than undeserving or something. 😭 Honestly, every fan has different criteria/reasons/opinions/taste they're basing their votes on, so... For a fan voting results will never be "only based" on who's best in something. I always remember what Bang PD said in EP1, about seeing their potential, and for me, I saw and still see something in both of them. But yeah, next global voting results will be more representative of the actual popularity of the applicants. - Really happy Ni-Ki and Hanbin got in! - SO SAD Nicholas didn't make it. 😭😭💔 Still not over it. His personality would've done something really good for the group of I-LANDers, I feel. 💔 - I think the voting system of a mix of producers (professionals) and global fans (popularity) is absolutely okay. You want members who are good and have what it takes, but also appeal to the people who will support them in the future. Not sure if they will vote off 2 people in the final global voting or what (4 test, but 5 out). 🤔 Also, 1st global vote (in Part 2) ends when we have maybe just seen Test 2 (whatever that is)? 😵 Huh? - Units: The groups are really kinda perfect, though I also see Ta-Ki more in DNA than FAKE LOVE. (Them showing the FAKE LOVE unit struggle so much... would mean they'll come through? Based on past editing/previews? I'm really curious!) Interesting to see these new combos though. (Kinda also guessed they may do sth. like that, like different units with respective leaders. It'll hopefully show as even more what they're made of.) Ah, and we finally (hopefully) see more of Hanbin, too! I hope they give him the equal amount of screen time during DNA. AAAAAH~! SO EXCITED to see all of them perform. OMG! - As of now, I don't have a certain group in mind. I have a hard time picturing the final 7 in my head. I will really pay close attention to their next performances. If Jay doesn't debut I am going to riot. This boy has so much passion. And he has great leader skills and like you said he is always a good sport. I fall for him in episode 1,and he still is my bias. I am going to be super upset if he doesn't end up in the group, because I have a feeling he is not that popular globaly :(

You guys are so funny! A lot of people were irritated that the trainees didn't get to meet BTS in person but army is pretty sure it was conflicting schedules because our boy work a lot. Plus the pandemic. But weren't the gifts so cute! Jungwonie still has the little cactus too!
