Now that I'm home, I'm working on getting stuff done for December and January. Namely December's final exclusive and January's stickers. I've been trial and erroring poses to find one I'm happy with rather than forcing one I'm unhappy with. I dumped several of the newer attempts into the late December sketchbook which should be posted within the hour. Thank you everyone for your patience and I hope 2020 is a good year for you!

As an update to the situation itself, I was able to spend every day between December 26th and December 31st with my dog at my parent's house. I only really came home to sleep, sketch a tiny bit and take a shower, returning ASAP because I didn't want him to be alone. The lymphoma rapidly progressed during that last week (It had already been with him for a while) and we ultimately had to put him down early on the 31st rather than Thursday January 2nd. He had a good life, and if I regret anything it's that I didn't visit him more often and I only have myself to blame for that. My parents still took really good care of him and kept him active. Considering he might have actually been born in 2006, he lived about the expected lifespan of his breed, which makes me feel a little better about the situation. I'll miss you, Willy ?

Sorry for your loss, but it at least sounds like he had a long and happy life. It's good you were with him at the end. <3

Losing a friend is so hard, but I'm so glad you were able to get all of that time with him.
