Development Update (Patreon)

Hey guys,

Just to update everyone on our progress since our last development update. As I mentioned last time I needed to spend some time practising making sex animations using my new animation technique in preparation for Rachel's upcoming content. I'm pleased to report that I've been making good progress. First, I made a couple of animations for custom requests, for Priti, Rachel and Faye (which are in the custom art folder accessible to the Head of Department tier). I was fairly happy with the way these turned out, so I then made a few random videos for the fake in-game porn website, as a way to practice my animations skills and to expand that section of the game. My initial plan for that part of the game was to have the option to watch porn with Rachel, however, I had to cut the scene short due to time constraints. Since we are coming back to work on Rachel’s content it made perfect sense to finish the scene off.

The time for practice videos is over now though and I’ve moved on to making content for the game. I like to think that our animations have been getting better with every update and version 0.13 will be no exception. I will be pulling out all the stops for Rachel’s upcoming scenes and I promise they will not disappoint.

In a personal development, Herdone and I will be moving house later this week. Since quitting my day job to become a full-time porn game developer three years ago, I have been working in the living room of our small flat. Although we have been comfortable enough here, our world has also felt very small. It's not like I can take my laptop to the cafe with the kind of work I do, so I've been very much tied to my desk in a small gloomy room for years now. The pandemic only made the situation worse and it has definitely taken its toll on our mental well-being. So, to say we are excited about moving is putting it lightly.

Sadly, the moving process has not been as easy as we hoped. Through an antiquated quirk of English property law, the leaseholder of our flat is essentially trying to extort tens of thousands of pounds from us. This legal issue has dashed any hopes we had of a quick sale of the property and has been the cause of considerable stress over recent months. Fortunately, I am doing well enough financially that I can afford a lawyer and we will refuse to be bullied by an exploitative freeholder. While the lawyers argue it out, we decided to move out anyway and rent a little house out of the city. A friend of mine is going to rent out our old place so, fortunately, I won’t be too out of pocket.

So this week we are packing our bags and getting ready to move. I'm looking forward to finally having a private garden where I can relax and do some writing and come up with ideas for scenes. Plus I’ll finally have a dedicated office space where I can work free from distractions. My wife is completely accepting of what I do for a living but sometimes I really would prefer not to have eyes over my shoulder while I’m working on my porn game, as I am sure you will all understand. So, in the short term moving house is going to slow me down a little, but in the long term, I expect the improvement in our mood will really help boost my productivity and creative energy.

Last time I said the next update might be ready around the middle of May but please don’t hold me to that. With the house move this week I am already a little behind where I hoped to be. I also want to take my time with Rachel’s content to produce something really special and it would be silly to rush through it. I’ll hopefully be in a better position to provide a more accurate release date in a month or so.
