Dear Patron of the Educational Reforms Venture,

Thank you for your financial support for our important work. Your contributions are helping find a solution to the disciplinary crisis and will ensure a bright future, not only for our test subjects but for young adults across the nation.

As a key supporter of our project, I thought you might be interested in a recent development at our flagship institution, St Louise's Academy for Girls. A young lady named Ada Campbell has been attempting to circumvent the school's firewall to contact her modest social media following. She mainly posts uninteresting self-portraits and cliched human interest pieces, however, she has the potential to be a great photographer if she is encouraged to pursue the right subject matter. We have therefore set up a dummy social media website for her to post to and welcome you to respond to her requests for feedback. This is a rare opportunity for you, the school's financial backers, to interact directly with one of the students. However, to preserve the ignorance of the test subjects to our observations, I've taken the liberty of narrowing down the responses to a few approved options. Please choose only one option from the attached poll.

Kind regards,

Paul Mykock

"Hi, it's me, Ada. Sorry that I haven't posted any new stories on my page recently. A lot has happened to me over the last few weeks. To cut a long story short, I've been sent back to school to repeat my final year. I’m in a remote location with heavily restricted access to the internet. Somehow, through sheer persistence, I made it through the school's firewall and I've managed to log into my Facegram page. It’s great to be back!"

"I know that my large number of followers come to me expecting exciting selfies and unconventional human interest photojournalism. So at first, I was worried about being trapped in this remote area. However, I am surrounded by beautiful countryside and even more beautiful women. So, fortunately, I have plenty of options about what to photograph here. In fact, I'm having trouble choosing between a number of potential photo-story ideas and so I'm going to leave it up to you guys to decide.”

“There are a lot of things going on at this school, there’s normal stuff like lessons, sports and a school play. Then there's a whole bunch of completely crazy stuff too. Girls are regularly made to strip down to their underwear and clean the school's grounds as a punishment. One girl was caught encouraging others to cheat on their homework and now she has to dress like a maid and do chores for everyone.”

“There’s a pair of gorgeous redheaded twins at this school too and I would love to do a photoshoot with them but they aren't interested. I thought maybe I could take a few candid shots of them without permission but I don’t know how I feel about that. What do you guys think?”

“So, please let me know in the comments what you would like to be the subject of my next Facegram story. I will take the pictures next week and post them here as soon as possible.”

What should we encourage Ada to photograph? Please select one option from the list below. The winning choice will be posted here soon and will appear in the next update. If you have any other suggestions feel free to write them in the comments.

  • Candid shots of the twins (and others) - Young Miss Campbell has taken quite an interest in our naughty red-headed twins, as have we all. Should we convince her to take some candid photos of them without their permission?
  • Behind the scenes at the school play - Ada mentioned the school play. Perhaps the comments on her post should push her toward some intimate backstage photography.
  • The duties of the dormitory maid - The inventiveness of the headmaster’s punishments never cease to amaze. Should we encourage Ada to document how Harriet’s punishment is going?
  • The girls' public punishments - We are all familiar with the punishments the headmaster gives out in his office but we see less when the girls are sent out around the school. Perhaps Ada can help reveal more of what happens during these moments.
  • Selfies with the girls around the dorm - Like many girls her age, Ada seems to love taking “selfies”. Unfortunately, her digital self-portraits are a little too tame. Perhaps she can be persuaded to pose for some more risque photos with some of her new friends.
  • The staff yoga sessions - Our organisation's primary interest is in the students, however, it is good to know that our teachers are keeping fit in order to best maintain discipline. Should we encourage Ada to photograph the staffs’ exercise regimes?

As a proud supporter of SLAG it makes me very happy to see a proactive approach in involving us PERVs with the school more. While I do sleep well at night knowing I'm contributing to a bright future for these girls, it's a bit of a shame to only routinely have access to the off photo from the Headmaster's office. Being able to see into the day to day activity of the school will make us that much more confident that we're on the right track, and will likely increase your support even further.
