"Both. But more supernaturals than humans," they answer quickly, rubbing at their lips before a smile falls into place across their expression. 

"Have you ever actually loved any of them?" Farah quips, sliding her gaze over to inspect the taller vampire's reaction.

The smile falters at the corners for a moment before it is solidified with a chuckle. "Of course. How can you truly be invested in a relationship if you don't put your whole heart into it?"

Farah's gaze narrows for a moment before giving an 'uh huh' and turning away…much to the apparent thanks of Nate/Nat, who blows out a short breath and tugs at the sleeve of their shirt.
