Hey everyone,

So this week I was back at work on the main story and trying to work out what I wanted to do in the other world. I played around with a few different elements but I didn't really like any of them.

This area isn't supposed to be about fighting figments it's more exploration and just a bit of fun before you return for the final battles and main plot resolution.

After playing for a bit I decided to take another look at the old sliding mechanic I removed from the game. Actually it's pretty fun even in the short term being able to slide around.

So I had to make some changes to get the basic mechanic back onto the character but I think it might be better to make this area a little simpler rather than complex and look at making it just a big scaled up playground. Focus on a bunch of slides and maybe a ride or two. I have a couple ideas for some fun bits I could experiment with.

I think this idea is probably the strongest so far. You won't spend too long there and will be able to return later but currently I think I have a good vibe and a way forward. My current thinking is it's a big mazelike playground and you have to find the Director hiding within it.

That's all for now. I need to do some more work smoothing out the slide mechanics and come up with a better and easier way of creating the other world. At the moment it takes a bit too much work to clip it all together but I'm happy with the direction!
